I’ve been watching the livestream.  It was good, but sadly Axl’s vocals were way ahead of the beat for most of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, it was near train wreck bad, and he was also way ahead for parts of WTTJ. He was in a good mood, and had powerful vocals for Jungle and Paradise City.

I don’t understand how IEMs can make him so ahead of the beat unless he has a click/backing track that’s ahead of the drummer/rest of band.

Great livestream tho, seeing all these bands play on the same day. Steven Tyler was absolutely amazing tho, his vocals on train kept a running, and whole lotta love were so so good.

Slayer slayed…now waiting for Metallica.

That ruled. GnR as a five piece is awesome. Axl’s vocals are what they are and he put everything into it. Good to see them in a different environment having fun.

Damn that new drummer is good.

I liked it.

The band was good on the Guns tunes.

Uncle Axl looked happy. And the short hair cut is good.

Good job lads!

Enjoyed that! Band sounds fantastic and great to have pro shot footage of such an occasion. Drummer is elevating them and how nice to see them as a 5-piece - is that the first time since Farm Aid 1990? Get them in a studio - they are firing on all cylinders!

If we weren’t sold on Isaac before, how can you not be after that Sabbath performance? So powerful yet in the groove. Gives the band a shot in the arm it needed. And the absence of Dizzy and pointless Melissa wasn’t noticed at all. They should continue like this. Just get into a studio before Axl’s voice is completely gone.

There are a lot of negative comments online about his voice, and yeah, it was bad, but he gave it all he had, and the crowd was lame anyway. Were they even Sabbath fans?

Yeah Isaac’s really great, loads of energy in his performance, totally driving the band. I thought Axl’s voice was good, specially jungle & pc, sounded strong, just the timing was way off in parts, which is a real shame because it would have been killer if he was in sync.

Yeah, I really don’t get the timing issues. Whoever is doing his IEMs needs to be fired. These are songs he’s sung hundreds of times, how can he be so out of time so badly? It makes it sound like an absolute train wreck
