So do we give any credence to this?

Hahaha, I love the artwork with the Cool S and all.

Fucking love it. I kinda miss the spacey intro from the leak, but as a song this is a belter and exactly what Absurd should've been. Axl's vocals seem a wee bit low in the mix though.

Can we just get Evader to plop the lyrics from the demo on the rehearsal video and release the fucking thing ourselves?

"There are five dates left on the US tour" is the new "There are 13 Tuesdays between now and the end of the year."

Metallica is doing a secret show in Chicago at the Metro, capacity less than 1,000. Maybe 500 or so.
We mentioned in this thread about GNR doing the same. I think they should. It's a big hit and gets a lot of positive PR.
They absolutely should. Though GN'R is a bigger band to cram onto a tiny stage. Like, physically I mean – there are seven of them up there versus Metallica's four!

Just noticed that they've inserted a wee guitar break by Slash immediately after the first chorus that wasn't there in the demo version. Wonder if that's for practical reasons, 'cos it's really hard to go straight from singing the first verse to the chorus to the second verse without running out of breath.

Or they could have done something like this.
To be fair, GN'R literally did the same thing (surprise show in a dinky venue) back at the start of the NITL tour.

full rehearsal today without axl https://streamable.com/373ujh
Is it just me, or does the middle bit of Slash's solo sound very much like a mashup of this bit from Velvet Revolver's American Man:

and the slide guitar parts from Spay?

Wholesome.
