Were they really broken out by instrument? That is cool. Are they still online?

It was shared on a different forum. One was drums/vocals/bass, one Lead and one rhythm guitar. There were more but I only wanted those.

Previously someone shared the isolated tracks for 5.1 blu ray that came with the AFD box set. This song was one of them. I thought it was awesome, so I made a CD of the drums/vocal tracks only. It's neat to listen to.

I've always thought it should have been on UYI II. The song is that good. Slash's guitar licks in between lyrics are fantastic. I'm sure they just wanted to save it for a covers album, but I've always though it would have fit perfectly on UYI.

World On Fire is my fav of the 3. Awesome riffs and good lyrics.
Contraband is hit and miss with the songs, I like it but it's different.
CD had a few great songs but fell flat on the rest. Kinda forgettable.

WOF is my vote.

Was so looking forward to this, but not one single demo or unreleased track. In today's age I can just download what I want, make my own CD covers and save $500. I'm Disappointed, but oh well. At least it's something.

Thought I would chime in. In 1990 the fans, the radio, magazines & MTV wanted anything and everything to do with GN'R. KOHD came out as a single but no video, so MTV released the Ritz '88 version as an MTV Exclusive. It even said this on the bumpers to the video. As soon as Civil war was released on that compilation the radio played it too. MTV would have GN'R Saturdays where they would play 90% GN'R videos, which included The Ritz and the GN'R Rockumentary. It was Glorious. I was a teenager and was obsessed with the band, so I remember it all clearly.

As a drummer I adore Stevens drums on this one. Love the tempo. He's all over the kit, the cowbell, the ride and floor tom. The ending is sweet, as it builds up. Love the demos as well. Different takes of it are nice.

#28 Re: Guns N' Roses » Why no photo shoots after 1991? » 152 weeks ago

Too much of a dysfunctional band at that point. Gilby being told at the last show He was done. 2 1/2 years of touring. Slash and Axl communicating by phone. Little to no promotion for the album except for one video. As I recall Estranged video came out very close to TSI. The album didn't do very well, as the previous poster said, it's basically UYI leftovers.

As for pictures with CD members, why? They're just hired guns. Never thought of as "members". Look at the recent tour posters, Do you see Frank, Richard or Melissa in them?

Interesting. Didn't know Seattle Head was an Outsiders song. I love the version on Beautiful Disease.
