On the other hand, she is, I think, pretty much the only GN'R manager who's interested in the current band as a going concern, rather than seeing it as a stepping stone to a reunion. If you look back at the previous managers, every one of them was stalling and fucking over Chinese Democracy in a bid to force Axl's hand. So, um, there's that.

year, he has charisma and rock agression which has not Miles
Here is Out Ta Get Me cover with Todd on vocal
Could they not just get rid of Myles and have him sing everything? Like you say, he has the agression that Slash's style needs.

All it would take to get Axl back to 2006 standard is some vocal training and some discipline. The difference between 2002 and 2006, and 2006 and now, is that Baz put Axl in touch with his vocal trainer on the '06 tour.

Yup, this is a thing that has happened.

To be fair, though, this:
"I apologize to anyone I've inconvenienced or put out in any way."
Is all I wanted to hear. Not a justification, or an evasion, just a straight-up apology taking responsibility for the late shows. 'Cause what annoyed me, having been through the experience of a late show, and seeing casual fans leave disgruntled, was seeing the constant stream of jokes about how he's never been punctual, ahahaha.
So, y'know, fair enough. He apologised, and I'm happy with that.
#1496 Re: Guns N' Roses » Ron says 'Just Forget About A New Record Until It Happens' » 711 weeks ago
Ya know... that thought has crossed my mind too. Like how Hendrix and 2pac have released so much material after their deaths. I sometimes wonder if that's Axl's plan: to just hold on to all of this supposed "mind blowing" material to have released after he's gone.
You fucking know that at the back of their minds, the record company execs are thinking, "If Axl keels over tomorrow, we can get the old band to lay down some tracks over these vocals..." They are exactly that cynical.
I wonder if Axl's pre-empted that with some clauses in his will.

I don't want to sign up for the GN'R tracker thing just to get it. I may just pass on it and keep the lo-def one I have.
1080 HD version has killer picture and sound quality and is properly mixed with bass and all guitars and no timer.
Few bongs and youll think your in disneyland \m/

Ooh, where's the 1080p version at? I've got the 720p version – keep pausing it on the wide shots to try and spot myself in the crowd.
And it's nice to see the end of the show, WHICH I FUCKING MISSED BECAUSE THEY CAME OUT SO LATE I HAD TO LEAVE FOR THE LAST TRAIN.

#1498 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Bring Back Robin Finck "Tank" » 712 weeks ago
I think it's pretty crazy, all this runaway speculation. Axl is perfectly happy with DJ, Robin showed no interest in rejoining GN'R during the five or so years while NIN wasn't touring – now just because they're touring without Robin, that puts a GN'R return on the cards? It's pretty bleedin' tenuous, as much as I'd like to see Finck, Bucket and Brain return.

What has Robin done in the past few years? People picture him as a creative force, but I'm afraid that lately his biggest creative effort was painting his house. If he did, anyway. His output is very tiny.
He's not exactly prolific. Just discovered he did this:

I don't really think this is news as such – I mean, there's nothing to indicate Robin is even considering rejoining. He hasn't been touring with NIN for the past few years, and we weren't talking about the possibility of him coming back then either.
Anyway, here's his most recent performance with GN'R.
