Not sure of what to make of this.
We had something like this in the UK a while back. I would imagine most countries have something like it.

Do they know something they are not letting on? Is this in case things escalate with Russia?

I'm sure goverment knows a lot it isn't going to let on. But the idea of Russia attacking us is something that is talked about for sure. The RAF have been escorting Russian planes out of our air space for years. It's common knowledge. We also bring over Ukrainians to train them which i'm sure the Russians are not too happy about

I finally found the frozen donuts I've been looking for since I was a kid.
One time my grandma was watching me when I was 4-5 years old and she had a box of frozen donuts she cooked for me. They were amazing.
Ever since then, I've brought them up occasionally and even she didn't remember them. Looked them up online over the years and could never find them. I started wondering if my mind was playing tricks on me.

Not really current events but not worthy of a thread...
I found out that the movie Stripes was originally supposed to be a movie for Cheech and Chong. Didn't work out so they did a rewrite with Bill Murray in mind.
Had the director of Friday the 13th part 6 not been shit canned for part 7, his original idea was to have Cheech and Chong as the guys running the camp. I can see where he got the idea...
Part 3....the two middle aged hippies that are with the group.
They balked, wanted to do Freddy vs Jason instead, it wasn't feasible at the time, and he brought up Cheech and Chong again since the studio owned the rights to both Jason and Cheech and Chong. He was then shit canned.
I kinda wish it had happened now. I like his approach to Friday the 13th...even more now than I did back then. It was a monster movie set in a small Mayberry style town with humor. We could've gotten something special out of it.

The most insane never made film was Jodorowsky's Dune. Crazy shit, including Pink Floyd agreeing to write the soundtrack. Because that film failed, and was so so so close to being made, it led directly and indirectly to other films, with pieces of costume, set, make up and creature designs and special effects to Blade Runner, Masters of the Universe, Star Wars, Alien, Flash Gordon, the Terminator, and The Fifth Element.

I keep seeing Back to the Future 4 trailers - but I've heard no official word that it they are real...the trailers are really impressive and could easily fool lots of people if they are fake.
Anyone know anything about it? My favorite trailer begins, 'when time travel is invented it will be the biggest ethical dilemma that mankind will ever have to deal with...'
