Wow, saw some buzz and tweets about him, didnt know the story. I figured he was staying in Dallas behind Dak.
Chicago better have something else in the works.
#82 Re: Guns N' Roses » Axl Portrait » 258 weeks ago
The Axl portrait isn't very good...no offense to the artist.
They made him look older than the original pic.
He would have sold more of those Let Me In pics if it had been Chloe Moretz.
I like the American Werewolf in London pic and Leatherface the best.
I kindof agree. The guy does cool work, but the Axl portrait is like the most normal, non-cartoonish. (Its on like page 3 of All Products for anyone interested in seeing it.

I have to be honest. I'm not really that interested in the band anymore despite discords and being on the forums for years.
I login 25%, to point to spam bots.
I feel like I grew up or something.
It's understandable. I feel like (unfortunately) politics kinda carried this forum since 2016, then the 4 cd leaks occured in what, 2019, injected some GnR life back into it. I suppose NITL as well early on, but I think by 2018 the tour wasn't much to discuss anymore. We'll see where things are here in another 12 months.
I feel like I grew up or something.
I can't believe I've been on Guns N Roses forums for 16/17 years now (2004 I think I officially joined HTGTH). Geeez. You were a great poster Atari.

Thats funny, pretty sure I remember that name, JimmerJammer

I remember Bono from HTGRH, Roses (which became this.
Was DTJ the attractive English lady?
Or was that SkynrdGirl?
Any chance Bono can come back?
I wonder what Jarmo does in the real world.
Whoa here today’s forum is gone? Yikes.
I was kind of pissed my favourite U2 site atu2.com is gone now too.
But here has been gone in my mind for a while when Jarmo banned people for not liking the band during the DJ days.
HTGTH is still up, http://htgth.com/board/index.php
No idea about Jarmo. I would think something website or technology related. Would he have taken years off at the height of CD & just worked on HTGTH, I thought he went to quite a few of their shows, not sure if he came to the US/Hammerstein.
Skynyrdgirl is the one your probably thinking of. DTJ is DoubleTalkingJive, who kinda helped found this site and was like a lead moderator, until about 07 or 08 I think. She was from NYC/Long Island, a few years older than most of us, probably 50 by now.
I think Bono came back 2 or 3 years ago, not sure he's still banned, just kinda doesn't post. Maybe he got banned a 4th time, j/k. BBA (bring back adler) was pretty funny, I didn't have a huge problem with him, but the last time he was banned I recall he went out of his way to almost, but maybe I'm mixing that up with Bono.

I'm no expert but isn't Swift the one who begged her rich daddy to make her a star when she was a teenager...so he did?
Kinda making a spin. One could say the same thing about Beyonce or something. She grew up outside of Philly, far suburbs, basically near Reading, PA. I think she was very talented by like 13/14, and it was obvious she was heading somewhere and looking for a contract and label. I think her parents did pull her out of school and move to Nashville, but it was more due to signing a young, up & coming musician type contract. By what, 17 she was writing hits (15, Tim McGraw etc).

I don't get the Taylor hate. I mean, I get it, the whole 'she only sings songs about 15 yr old breaking up with their boyfriend etc'. But purely talent, she can do 'pop' up their with Lady Gaga & Katy Perry, but also sing folk/rock like the tops.

This topic still holds relevance. If only we could guess why?
I forgot about Paxcow.

One you forgot was Skynyrdgirl. She was attractive but after a while became obvious she enjoyed posting pics on a forum full of guys. Kindof an early instagrammer before it was a thing
Yeah she was really something and yeah... definitely got off on the attention.
She also didn't like the few female members of the forum....as if they were competition or something.
Acquiesce was like the anti Skynyrd Girl. She went above and beyond the call of duty to not point out she's a girl to the point that the majority here didn't even know.
I remember telling her back then she could've been more popular than Skynyrd Girl. She was insanely attractive in that girl next door way along with being really intelligent. Could craft lengthy posts putting any male nerd to shame..
Yeah I remember Synrdgirl didnt like other females and definitely was a competition thing. I remember Acquiesce but didnt know she was a girl, although it sounds familiar, I think it was brought up in a post and I was one of them who was surprised. LLL was cute too, shy, I think she was only here for a short time and between bfs.
Mike Guiliana was a nut. Didnt know he knew DTJ. We wrote on htgth once or twice, he was like a plumber for new skyscrapers and buildings and like broke his wrist. Was out of work for like 6 weeks and accrued about 10,000 posts in such a short time. There were days he posted almost every minute.
Yeah CC was young. Probably only around 30 by now. I think he went to college and barely posted for a year, then dropped off.

CC & DTJ stand out. Tejastech & backslash were pretty big posters. Tommie & Jimbob were here a bit few years ago, myb during NITL tour.
I forgot about LLL, wonder what happened to her. One you forgot was Skynyrdgirl. She was attractive but after a while became obvious she enjoyed posting pics on a forum full of guys. Kindof an early instagrammer before it was a thing.
Yeah i miss those years. In some ways this place helped me out thru some tough times and ife. Cant explain why im always here, like an escape from my real world.
