I know these things are planned in advance but you'd think Slash would clear the decks to make time to be in the studio with Axl and Duff.
For a moment let's say they do. Would Richard and Frank be right for the studio?
Yeah because they’re recording in 2020’s not in the same room in 1986.

Axl should get CD guys and do album of covers as Axl Rose. Songs that he wants to/can sing.

Just listened to it. This will be an unpopular opinion but it sounds like the most classic-sounding Axl recording since 1994. I think he sounds great. Regarding the “processed” vocals, I think that’s more about the fact he recorded it remotely and not in the same studio.

Schenker says Axl is a perfectionist and actually did takes on 3 tracks before giving him permission to use Love To Love.

They just canceled some shows and from what I read online (grains of salt) attendance has been low. If that’s the case, I still applaud him for being ambitious and doing something he’a obviously passionate about.
Edit: it’s now being reported that his 25 year old stepdaughter died. That’s terrible.
