Moving as in tracks are leaking through the dam again....

I like the changes to Better's opening, but Robin's opening and sustained riff is the best part of the song, arguably with his incredible string bending solo. The riff has been lifted off the track and Ashba clearly cannot play the Robin version as it was written from what is offered here.

Some good changes to add mood, but the best of the song has been deleted or eviscerated by a substandard re-do.

Going Down is a mediocre track. Tommy is not a great vocalist, a bit of a monotone, but I wasn't expecting much. The heavy guitars are out of place on this track and were probably post-production addies. If this was for Tommy's solo album, he should be pissed that Axl exercised his right of finder's keepers and locked it away in the Vault.

I haven't heard enough good material from Slash since the break up to get excited by a reconciliation. A couple of songs here and there but there has been a lack of consistency for a long while.

I can't believe this will be Ron's seventh year in the band. I have still yet to hear a G&R song written by Ron with the exception of a re-recorded solo or guitar fill.

So what happens to all those people who paid good money to become premium members of gunsnroses.com?

Now there is another exclusive stream for the band? Come on, now. If this is tied to the band, then shame on them for withholding from individuals who paid for that exclusivity through the official fan club.

Forget radio. Sell out arenas instead of playing 4 quarter full arenas.

To do that, bring back the rock n' roll sound that made G&R famous. A great, nostalgia driven rock n' roll single. It doesn't have to be a to 10 radio single, but simply one that makes people notice the band again and their ability to make it work.  When G&R tries to be something they aren't, it ends up sounding like your dad humming Nirvana or Linkin Park.

I find it consistent with what he has put out in the last few years.

High on helium, short on rasp.

I'm not going to defend all posters, but many, including myself, come back to post when the band actually does something.

btw, I think I have now heard everything, from 'everyone had a good time'...therefore the voice must have been good to 'the mix wasn't where it should have been'....meaning that there were a collection of angles off which Axl voice reflects such that the helium sound turns into 2006 era, chainsaw Axl.

Time to sell.

Same apologists, different day.

I think Axl sounded like he has the past two years. Which isn't good.

He needs better conditioning and some work with a coach because his tone reminds me of 2001 Axl.

I'm sorry to say that he simply isn't singing well enough right now.

This has been Axl's voice for the greater part of the last two years. During this same time, he hasn't conditioned himself well which is obvious with his weight gain.

I think it isn't age, but simple preventive care. In Axl's case, he just might not care about perfection anymore.
