Lmao, well done. The only thing I would have added is ” this was music before that Cobain pussy ruined it”.

I like them all.
Adler is straight ahead rock-bar rock music.
CD is complex emotional-journey Axl music.
Different flavours for different occasions - but both nicely done.
I agree 100%.
I didn't think much of CD when I first listened to it in '08, but I gave it a second chance recently and like it more and more with each listen.
I'm loving this Adler album too, and it goes really well with Apocalypse Love. Would love to see them touring together.

RaZor wrote:A guy I used to work with was a classically trained drummer, really into jazz, fusion, and prog rock. He hated Slash with a passion. In his words, ”that guy is terrible. Terrible!”. He then he went into a monologue about how he plays off key.
Now I don't know dick about music, other than I know that some I like and some I don't. I really like what Slash does. In fact I have almost 200 songs by him on my iPod, in a playlist I've since named ”terrible, TERRIBLE”.
But I wonder, is what my ex coworker said true? And if it is, why does it sound so good?
It's not true. Never trust a drummer...they are drumming for a reason.
Hah, I suspected as much.

This is a great article. I’ve been obsessing over GNR and CD lately, surfing the web quite a bit, and this is by far the best thing I’ve come across. Thanks much.
