Robin's still (and probably always will be) my favorite GN'R axeman, post-Slash. I loved the Robin/Bucket combo for what it was, even if guys like Dj and Bumble are a better match to the old band visually.

My band, Broken Glass & Cigarettes, is definitely influenced by VR. As far as my own vocals, I'm a Bowie/Weiland disciple for sure. Ch-check it out!

Matt got a raw deal all around.

I bet looking back he wishes that he'd kissed Axl's ass instead of Slash's. He'd still have a job today.

Slash's solo career has basically held VR hostage and kept Matt out of work. But on another hand, Matt's lack of creative ability has kept him from appealing to anyone outside of the GN'R circles.

Duff & Dave went off to do stuff solo. And frankly, and this comes as a big shock because I was never a big Dave fan.... Dave has the best stuff outside of VR. His various contributions to the "Sons of Anarchy" soundtracks are AMAZING.

All quoted for truth. More or less.

P.S. Sent some demos out, myself. One in a million...

Was coming on here to see who else might be at the Albany, NY show tomorrow night to maybe meet up with in line. Didn't expect to see my show got cancelled. Fiancée and I were really looking forward to this one. It's the only concert we made sure our budget might even allow this year.

At least I've already seen GN'R twice and VR once. Still super bummed.

I would really love to see a GaGa/Queen collab. After Brian introduced the idea, it excites me more than Lambert.

Lambert is a great vocalist, no denying it, but GaGa is SO MUCH MORE of a SHOWMAN than Lambert. GaGa would be the showman/woman that Queen has needed since Freddie.

I'd love to hear her beautiful voice on some of Queen's biggest tracks too. But me thinks GaGa is so popular right now, that her stardom would overshadow "Queen". People would immediately think Lady GaGa and would have no clue who silver-haired guitarist and old guy on drums is.

Even at the 2011 VMA's when Brian May was brought out, short of Dave Grohl, most of the audience -- "the Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez fans" had no fucking clue who "the old man was".

Let's be honest...

Quoted for the mafuckin' truth. Yours truly is actually a huge Lady Gaga fan; and I dig Adam Lambert, too. But Queen + Gaga? Right on!

Baz in Albany? Fuck yeah! Just made me a helluva lot more excited for my show (as if that was even possible).

I am thinking about heading up to NY to catch this show depending on how the 17th goes. I wouldn't mind seeing Bach rock the fuck out on stage. Still no word on my opener. I wanna hit another show but not the other one in Jersey. I fucking hate south jersey. 16 And taking a road trip with a few bottles of nightrain out of state seems funner.

I was originally set for Worcester again, myself. (Love the venue.) But a NY show like Albany's is more my neck of the woods, so it's just more convenient (and more fun) on a lot of levels. And hey, you're not the only one who goes road trippin' with some sweet Night Train in hand. You should definitely hit up the Albany show. I think you and I need to take the opportunity to burn together, anyway, man. Cheers!

That's my thought exactly. Why put your entire life online then complain or be worried about your personal information getting out?

Thirded. Been saying it awhile.

If you don't want to be doomed by giving your privacy away to the capitalists, DON'T BE ON FACEBOOK.

Every damn day I second-guess and consider shutting down my Twitter account. Just the other day it was hacked (as Russ already knows), and I considered just taking it down.

Fourthed? I got out of the Facebook game a long time ago. Indexing and immortalizing onto the worldwide web all of my most personal likes and dislikes, quirks, friends, foes, family, voluntary background info, ads suited to my "tastes," and facial recognition to match names to anyone I may happen to associate with in my own personal life?

Yeah ...

Don't think so.

And in his personal life maybe he's just that. But this is Guns N' Fuckin' Roses, not Coldplay. I'm not trying to be arrogant about something like this, but I really strongly believe that people take the matter of the band's (man's) late arrivals a little too personally and seriously. If someone's been consistently "late" for 25 years, at what point do we stop considering it a late arrival and logically figure "If Axl's waited till about midnight to make an appearance at the last dozen or so gigs on this leg of the tour, it would stand to reason that the pattern should continue here tonight. Therefore, I shouldn't expect the man to break several decades of 'bad habits' and arrogantly believe that tonight, for me and my show, he'll show up promptly at 8."

Think about it. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone, but the argument's jumped the shark. Even if it held water in '02 or '06, in 2011 you should know exactly what you're signing up for when you plop your ticket money down on the counter. Let's stop kidding ourselves.

I'm officially throwing my hat in the ring for the VR frontman gig. CD's in the mail.
