Fixed
Hilarious with a side order of Pathetic
And I'm with the opinion that Roger Waters and David Gilmour are not has beens. I loves my Floyd !!

It's Five O Clock Somewhere
Ain't Life Grand
Contraband
Libertad
Chinese Democracy
SickThe GNR guys have released albums since 1991.
Contraband got good reviews and was a big hit, went platinum and Slither was very successful.
Chinese Democracy, whilst not a hit still made it to 3, and appeared in a fair few rock magazines list of best albums.
Sick has received great reviews and Loaded have just finished a successful UK tour.Just because a band isn't going NO.1 with each record or single doesn't mean their a has-been. Just because they're not always in the top 10 doesn't mean their a has-been.
Hell by your logic one of your favourite bands Alice In Chains should be has-beens.
As a side note, Jani Lane was recently fired from warrant for a DUI,
I'm sure you are all heartbroken
One thing to remember, the industry is undergoing Major changes,
and sinking like the titanic, it ain't 1991 anymore. Also when acts like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are considered mainstream Rock, that is painting a vivid picture of the debaucle that is prevalent in todays Society. Sickening, but true.
I don't see GNR, AIC, Pink Floyd, Zep, etc... as has beens. Do I like slash compromising his values by appearing on A.I. or playing with virtually everyone? No, But I don't like his passive aggressive tendancies and doubtful truth either. Is it fair that after years of silence that Axl gets blasted for calling Slash a cancer? No, and it is an unfortunate turn that slash's Mom died from Lung cancer not long after that, But Axl's Mom also died of cancer in 1996. It was a case of bad timing but the media fed off this like the maggots they are. The only thing I've heard off radio lately that appealed to me is "a perfect circle's" cover of Imagine. Thank the powers that be for satellite radio!! And I would have loved BLS to have opened for GNR.... but the world is an imperfect place, and like it or not this is 2009, the recording Industry as well as the concert moguls are desperately trying to find their footing. Will I go to see GNR? Hell yes!! And I'm still glad there is a GNR, still love the music!!

Can't please all the people all the time, 06-07 tour, 08 Album release
09-10 tour....I'd rather have this number of carefully calculated moves than have ten Albums worth of shit, and half-Ass county fair tours. Some people will never be satisfied, and I truly believe that.
They try to live vicariously through GNR and when plans don't go to suit them, they bitch, whine, and moan!!!! I'm satisfied with the movement we have, and I won't succumb to the negativity of some
overly expectant 13 year old experts on the forums.

I don't see the need for the big hatefest on Bas, the dude stays busy, and when GNR calls he changes plans and answers that call..no second thoughts needed. They could have done far worse than picking Bas for an opener. As for the negative things that were previously said, Izzy said some negative things as well in the past,
But, it didn't prevent him from taking the stage with GNR in 06'.
Sometimes friendship is more important than hastily issued statements, Some character flaws can be overlooked- and these two guys haven't got a history of litigation against Axl, unlike slash, steven and duff. And to change the topic slash will be covering Paradise City with Fergie on his upcoming album.....:(
make anybody else nauseous? This to me is proof positive he is lacking in the integrity department, and has sunk to new levels of sellout! I don't believe a word he says, after the denial of the 530am visit, slagging on VR, and damn that guy can't keep a band together!!
Okay rumbling ramble over for nowSlash has sunk low indeed. And as for him being a liar. He lies in his biography about the situation where Axl allegedly made them sign away the GNR name. At one point he says it was before a show and a few chapters later he says it happened in a restaurant or something. And they're not two separated events. I hate to say this but Slash should keep his mouth shut. And yeah I do believe the 5:30 am incident too. As for Baz. See my previous posts. *lol*
Yes, covering "Jungle" with Fergie has forever delegated him to having a studio musician mentality. And what the fuck was he trying to accomplish by going to the viper room, with Adler in tow
the night Dizzy and Fortus played? I smell bad intentions, as in ambush. Slash needs to remove his balls from Perla's Purse, and do some damage control, he is overexposing himself to the max.
As most know the feud between GNR & Poison has deep roots.
Personally I would have loved to see BLS open for Guns, now that would have been a great show! People can bitch about Zakk and his pinched harmonics, but He is a monster on guitar, and on piano as well. Love his cover of "Whiter shade of pale".

Random Fact: "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was taken from "Tanz der Vampires" It originally featured Steve Barton in Austria, It's on utube and was written by the same guy who does Meatloaf's songs...It's very dark.
And I believe Slash is not as much of an Icon as a relic, He hasn't progressed from his GNR days, same tired blues riffs, same leather pants and stupid little hat. I don't believe anything he says-rather than being direct he is passive-aggressive. American Idol, Fergie,
and numerous talk shows have ruined any respect I may have held for him. He is all about $$$$$$.
True Bas is a bit hyperactive, and he irritates some, He is talented
He loves doing PR, and he is a damn good choice for an opening act, they could have done much, much worse! And he can wail, as well as get along with Axl, so it's all good to me.

I don't mind saying I'm glad that Bas is opening!! and the Angel Down version shits all over the aerosmith version, just as the Lies version of Mamakin was better!!! On Angel down Bas' record company went tits up and he had to finance the rest himself--It's a good album imo and beats out a Lot of what is on mainstream radio!!
I had the happy opportunity to see Skid Row open for Guns on the 91 tour, and Bas led the crowd in an impromtu chant of Ice Ice baby-Fuck off-fuck off, in a "tribute" to Vanilla ice who shamelessly ripped off the " under Pressure" riff....(Bowie&Mercury).
The 06/07 tours were great as well and I had the lucky experience of seeing them several times...This, imo is when it's great to be single and childless, you get to be selfish and do what makes you happy!!!
SO i'm a happy camper that Bas is opening again- much better than a van halen team-up imo!! I won't make taiwan if it happens- they have had multiple monsoons and it really fucked up the place!
But I'll catch at least 2 shows in Japan and more in Canada!!
Bet Bas is having the last laugh on the old skid row lineup

I too got my credit card fucked at ebay, it was pure hell getting it straightened out, and I can definitely help but is it necessary to do it online? There is enough time for a snail mail to go from the US with a cashiers cheque. Are you going for the VIP tix? need an amount.
