Not really. They are just giving them a while to settle this suit through mediation. The Conference-Post Mediation Status is where they tell the judge what has come from the mediation and rather or not it has settled out of court.

Sounds like he's not got as much to show for his work as he thinks he should have.

Maybe he should write a book..then we'd have all these biographies to read and try to patch together what really happened.

He could lose work by insulting his former clients as well. That's really frowned upon in the music business and all of Hollywood in general.

I understand that he should be able to take up for himself, but I'd be careful about doing it unless I needed to as it will be a huge turn off to future clients.

The restraining order was filed March 1 after Sheen's estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, requested it, alleging that he had threatened to kill her.

I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom," Mueller claims that Sheen told her late last month.

The restraining order states Sheen cannot possess, have, buy or try to buy, receive or try to receive, or in any other way get guns, other firearms or ammunition.

So they're worried he's going to cut her head off with a gun? 16

I guess they are covering all the tracks, but I don't buy that as the reason they went in. They needed an excuse.

As you may recall, the whole case with Irv Azoff is based on an alleged verbal agreement he had with Axl over his commission. Verbal agreements are pretty enforcable in CA (where these suits are going on) as long as you can prove they existed, which is usually done by witnesses.

Not sure how holding someone responsible for the way they treat their son is "Gnreducating" but ok. I guess thats the best you can do.

I'd feel a lot more love for her had she not stolen millions from him and gambled it all away while he was in a coma. This was after showing no interest at all in him until the band made it big.

Why would anyone want to read (let alone pay money for) a book by Steven Adler's mother? No offense to her, but she had no actual contact with the band during that time, she was never part of it in any way and most everything she would know about the band has already come out in interviews and Steven's book.

I highly doubt she "lost her son to Guns N Roses", seeing as he was only in the band for 5 years and has stated he did drugs way back into his early teens. I guess having them to blame would make for a good premise, but I doubt it's fact.

Maybe she can give some insight into how she gambled away all Steven's money when he was in a coma, but thats about it as far as interesting goes.

so, let me get this straight, Slash files 2-3 lawsuits (all Slash lawsuits against Axl were dropped) DIRECTLY against AXL. Axl has filed NO lawsuits directly at Slash...only countersuits when Slash has sued him...yet you guys seem to think Axl has no case here. Hmmmmmmmm....just maybe Activision misrepresented their intentions to Axl....it is a possibility. Why not see how it plays out before casting judgement? The Slash vs Axl lawsuits were DROPPED/DISMISSED by Slash. Axl has not sued Slash...facts....put all the "illusions" and crap aside and look at the record.

People also seem to forget that he's been quite liberal with allowing Slash to rerecord various songs over the past few years. The deluxe version of Slash has 3 Guns songs on it, featuring Myles Kennedy and Fergie. I think he'd have been fine with the Guitar Hero thing, had they not gone behind his back the same way they did with Courtney Love and the whole Kurt character thing.

No matter who worked on these songs, they can't just use them when and where they want to. As you can see above, when someone uses a symbol or a song, the others get mad.

But January 2011 was two months ago? Why is this just now being reported?

BTW, this case will never go to trial. Very few lawsuits in CA do. It'll be settled out of court. I would imagine it may have already been.

One other thing that bothers me too.

Why do people always have to diss November Rain and the video? Because it cost a lot? Because it's not old school enough?

That video was awesome and brought in a lot of new fans. In fact, most people that know very little about GNR today can at least name that video. Every great video costs money. I'm personally glad it exists.
