Hey Will, as our Izzy expert,  is it confirmed Izzy is putting out a new album this year?  Also, how happy are you right now, lol, these singles are awesome.

I was playing around on google trends a site that shows you how popular google search terms were over the past 10 years.

I put in all the original guns n roses members.

I know this is all fairy open to interpretation, but I thought the graphs were pretty informative.

We hardcores think of Duff as being as important as Slash and Axl but the average fan isn't searching for info about Duff nearly half as much as they are searching for Axl and Slash. No one really searches for info on Steve Adler, Izzy or Duff.

Slash's popularity has plummeted since returning to GNR while Axl's has gone through the roof.

Again I know it's all meaningless and out of context but still looks kinda cool and says something about how the public views GNR and DufF Izzy and Steve's roles.

I wouldn't say Slash took a nose dive.  He had a spike in 2010 and he's been trending down since. Makes sense, his self titled album came out in 2010, and he's been very active since, law of diminishing returns.

So you're making a couple of assumptions here, thanks for clarifying.  wink

@buzz I don't think there's anything wrong with discussing a public figure.  I'm not a fan of insults and name calling though.

No he hasn't... he's arguing GNR isn't giving out enough info, so MSL and other 'insiders' can make a business off of spreading rumors an being all cagey about the stuff they supposedly know. Nothing more despicable than teasing you know something and hinting at stuff without going full hog. Either you're going to say something, or you shut the fuck up. Especially if it has been proven in the past that you are often enough just plain wrong.

My bad - went back and reread, misunderstanding on my part.  Sorry Monkey.

I singled Monkey out on this thread, not to attack him, but because his criticism is actually fair - but I question some of the assumptions he's basing his argument on, and I reject his conclusion.

I don't find M to have been harmful to the band, I've enjoyed what he's had to say, and he has just as much of a right to say what he pleases on he internet as we all do.

@Monkey - do you know for a fact that M made demands of the band? Or is that an assumption you've made, like the assumption you're making about Izzy being ready to sue M?

Also, you criticized M for both not giving out enough info, and giving away to much info - what's the deal, do you have a legit beef or are you arguing just to argue?

MSL is a successful small business owner, and professional entertainer - yeah, real loser that guy.

In case anyone is interested, he addressed the tweet on Truth: http://gnrtruth.proboards.com/thread/49 … asking-msl

@BLS - yeah, the movie wasn't perfect. The things that I didn't care for were

Hidden Text:

it was a little boring at first (but honestly, IMO, so were the Nolan Batman movies at times, so if it wasn't a problem for those movies, we shouldn't hold that against this one IMO) And they didn't do a god job of explaining that dream sequence to the general audience, people were walking out of the theater like WTF.

@Axlin - interesting analysis dude. So do you think this is a soft reboot of the Nolanverse. Maybe an alternate reality where the events of those films happened with some minor details changing here and there?
