It is just truly amazing to read all that.  You joke about how long it's taken, but you just kind of shrug it off.  Then you read that and wow!  The separation between dates of interviews and how much further along are we then we were back in 1999?  Okay, I'd like to think we are much further along, but still, you know what I mean?

Fantasy football is pretty tough and a lot of luck is involved.  I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the NFL but I've finished near the bottom of many leagues and have only won one title in my 7 years of participation.  If you get burned with a few early draft picks that just don't pan out you're fighting from behind all season.  I did pretty well in my leagues last year during the regular season.  Not so much in the playoffs though, I was bounced out early.  It's a good time though.

The Pats may seem to have an easy schedule for next year, but its not because the NFL wants them to win or anything. The opponents are chosen years in advance. The only thing chosen recently is the dates. The division rotate every year and play another division, in addition to the inter-divisional games.

Yeah, they just happen to get the NFC and AFC West this season, which were both horrendous conferences record-wise last year.  As easy as their schedule is though, most of their tough games are on the road (@ Chargers, @ Colts, @ Seahawks).  And since I have tickets to all the home games this year (2nd year running), I'm not too happy about that.  Their only real tough home games are against the Broncos (who they usually have trouble with) and the Steelers.  So that should even things out a little.

Dickerson was great but not as good as Sanders or Brown, and didn't have the longevity of Smith or Payton.

I HOPE Baz confirms or denies whether the latest leaks are indeed just demos or the finished product.  But I doubt he will, I'm not sure if he's even heard the finished product himself.  In fact, I'm not even sure there IS a finished product.  He could however clear up the mystery and give us the title to "song 2".  That'd be nice.

#6946 Re: Guns N' Roses » Of the new three leaks, which songs do you actually like? » 895 weeks ago

I like them all.  It took some time though.  I never like Rhiad live.  That along with Silkworms and My World were probably the only 3 GNR songs that I could do without.  I find the leaked version much better though.  I don't love it, but it's vastly improved for me.  I liked If The World pretty much from the start after I got over the fact that it sounded nothing like anything GNR had ever done.  I soon embraced that fact and it's probably my favorite of the 3.  I thought I'd like song 2 the most the first time I heard it, then I liked it the least, but it's quickly gaining ground.  As someone stated previously, I too have a hard time being critical of anything GNR puts out, except "Silkworms".  Although if a studio version comes out I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I was praising it.  I'm not hard to please.

At least until next year when we still don't have a record......

Hey, give me 3 or 4 more leaks and I'm calling it a record.  We're almost there.

Just listened to that part a couple more times and i for sure hear "Bring you down".

The way he's singing it, it really sounds like "Bring you down".  Can't be "bring me down."

Well I'll agree with you that I definitely don't hear "prostitute" or anything like that.  ELO once uttered the words "bring me down", why can't Axl?  I'm still hearing it that way.  Either way, I think we're on the right track.  Let's put this "Prostitute" talk to rest.

I didn't realize you could vote for more than one song.  Lack of reading comprehension on my part.  Along with "I.R.S." I'd also choose "Better", "CD", "TWAT", "The Blues", and "If The World".  Might as well think big, and positive.

#6950 Re: Guns N' Roses » Potential Singles? » 895 weeks ago

I always thought "The Blues" would be a potential single that could hit most formats the first time I heard it back in the day.  God that was a long time ago, and it's STILL not out.  But as James said, no ballad could be a first single.  I know this won't be a popular choice but "I.R.S." has always been among my favorites and non hardcore fans that I've played the song for have liked it as well.  "TWAT" is great but may be too complex.  "Chinese Democracy" has a definite shot.  I'm gonna vote for "I.R.S." though.  Going for the underdog.
