"'People will hear music this year,' says Axl Rose, puffing on a cigar in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. 'We're working on thirty-two songs, and twenty-six are nearly done,' he says. Of those, thirteen are slated for the final album. [...] Among Rose's favorites are 'Better,' 'There Was a Time' and 'The Blues.'" (Rolling Stone, 01/18/06)

13 on the album....all three mentioned on that tracklist....check out that cd back cover...it says copyright 2007. That really could have been a version of Chinese and then in 2008 the leaks came and changed everything...forced ax to release them.

This track list (jpg file) was always fake

CD was always going to be track 1 on CD, and Prostitute was always set for CD as well. I had this confirmed by all parties years ago.

As for 'Ides of March', it is an unfinished track, confirmed by Dizzy years ago who wrote the riff for the song in the first place.

It is a great read because it truly reflects the complexities behind the making of CD.

#673 Re: Guns N' Roses » Website updated with tour dates (South America) » 812 weeks ago

The website has offered ballpark tour plans of South America.

Fernando has then offered advice wrt some dates that were posted.

People then criticise GN'R and Fernando for doing this, yet everyone criticises GN'R when they do not offer updates. Can you blame them? smile

Whatever happened Sp1at, Big Boss and Gigger?  I went to the new site but have lost the link and haven't been there in forever.

I'm bigboss, Gigger is still around occasionally.

I took the site down because it had ran it's course. Haha, we became so hated that in the end that I had to fight off daily attempts to hack and damage the site. 14 The site was just a little bit of fun.

As soulless as an Avatar-less insult junkie named after the least reputable journalistic website in history?? StepVhen thinks not the - Karma say's "it all"

Drop the Sp1at attacks. You know this site doesn't operate like that, and at least seven of this site's active members(including myself) were members of that site.

Having said that, that Canadian comment was a bit below the belt. We have quite a few Canadians who post here.

The Canadian comment was a private joke, no offence was meant. Canada is a fine place to visit, and my current gf is Canadian

It seems obvious to me that this is Axl's final tour.

If you knew that were true, would it motivate you more to travel to Canada?

Canada is a soul-less place, so no.

It is not Axl's final tour.

#678 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR.com on Strikeout as MLB Goes on Strike » 814 weeks ago

Story is true. MLB are unhappy at lack of income from the GN'R official website. They have hijacked it and are not currently allowing updates.
