What do HBO show in GoT's slot now? Gonna miss my GoT fix tomorrow.. Got an hour of my life to waste wondering what to do with it..

Edit: some awful looking shite called blackhat with that twat who used to be in home & away. Michael Mann directing/producing but that can't convince me to try it after seeing Thor is in it. No thanks.
Think I've seen polluxlm n axlin talk about it on here. Fuck it.

Ok then, risk-averse then maybe? Instead of lazy?
I dunno. I don't wanna rain on your parade so I'll lay off. I did think it was telling tho when you said he did the Slash intro line, sorta highlights the scripted nature of the thing..
I'll still be goin to the shows, despite my reservations. I'll just be more like mitchejw, mixed emotions. As long as people are getting off on it that's what's ultimately important at the end of the day.

Think France need a big win tonight - if they get a win. Looking ahead, if they're going into the Germany game lacking in confidence even slightly, they'll be beat before the game even kicks off. Tonight's a bit of a thankless task unless they get a solid, authoritative victory.

There ya go 1-0 already.. Sophisticated French weaponry to kill the Vikings tonight..

Howler form the keeper. Like a cheap hooker with his legs open like that..

whatever song that will end up being played and some forum poster will end up moving the goal post anyway.

Except the people complaining aren't the ones moving the goal posts: it's the exact same complaint as in '06,'08/'09.
The crux of the complaint is that the set lists are indicative of the general malaise and lazy attitude that has infected GnR for the past 25 years.
There is clearly supercilious thinking going on, that whatever's being presented is "good enough" & we should somehow be grateful for even that?! WHAT?! & there's little effort made to go above and beyond. & people have a right to expect that, why should the band or the fans settle for "ok that's good enough", asif merely being in their presence is some kind of privilege?! Not for me well. I don't think the sunshines out of axls fat hole.

Good for you lot who are glad to accept whatever they feed you, it doesn't mean others don't have legitimate questions of the organisation.
& why shouldn't people be allowed to express an opinion, & if you're so content why let it bother you anyway?
It's funny how you can OMG and spunk yer load to Coma but it's somehow less legitimate for someone to do likewise to TWAT or Back off Bitch?! That doesn't seem very fair..

Surely given that these are stadium shows with 40-60,000 then statistically it's more likely more people will have seen the show online or be going to multiple gigs that the 5-8,000 that turned up for the arena shows with axl & his travelling circus..??

Meh. It is what it is. I didn't even want to get into this fight really. I've long since accepted the slack attitude of Axl to the brand. I'm just saying that the set list is just one of many indicators of the attitude at play - both from the owners & from the people/fans who accept it. It's clearly not a fight I'll ever win, I learned that a long time ago. Or at least I thought I did.. I'm just beatin a dead horse..

Also, remember that it's really rare for somebody to see more than 2 concerts in the same tour.

No it's not. Particularly if they play two shows in the same city.

+ loadsa people will have already seen the show on youtube before going to the gig, making it even more imperative for surprises from night to night.

GN'R fans are spoiled by the 1991 tours. Few big bands rotate their set lists all that much.

Just cause other big acts do it doesn't make it right or acceptable.

Don't blame us for holding Guns to a higher standard. They set the standard and aren't living up to it.

Plenty of big bands rotate their set, Pearl Jam immediately spring to mind.

It lessens the experience for everyone involved. Even if the casuals don't realise it, they're still getting fed a facsimile rather than something unique.

They just don't have the skill or balls to pull off different songs. Axl anyway, that much is obvious.

I just find it bemusing how anyone in good conscience could support her. More than the (clearly illegal & clearly stupid) email scandal, more than the shocking hypocrisy of her handouts from the Saudis, is this global slush fund issue (CGI!). How the hell haven't the authorities, or right minded (I don't mean right-wing minded) people, not raising alarms against her. Maybe they are but are just being shouted down or closed out.
Surely that old police adage, follow the money, must come into play on the matter of her behaviour. She acts as if she's above the law ffs! & people seem to not even just stand idly by, but actively ignore this criminal in their midst?!

Maybe I'm missing something? From what I can see its head scratching.
Tbh I'm starting to see the appeal of the protest vote going for Trump, giving him a one term presidency just to stop Hillary & the sheer brazen injustice of her.

It's a testament to her thick skin i suppose, how's she's able to slime her way through these controversies. Certainly looks to be one of the more corrupt & morally bankrupt presidents you guys will have. Good luck.

They've done 11 shows and we're already bitching about the setlist? FFS. That's not even long enough to establish the setlist, never mind vary it.

But it's not just 11 shows. As Apex pointed out its p much the same set as 20 years ago! 24 years ago, sorry.
