Who doesn't have control of their life?
The only people I can think of are those in prison, mental hospitals, bedridden, etc.
Even then, though, prisoners have the option to do things possible to right their wrongs, make parole, and become a better person on the outside.
Mental health is something that's near and dear to my heart, so I do understand that sometimes, someone may feel like there is no help or no hope for change. But there is. I am living, breathing, ALIVE proof.
Those who are bedridden or handicapped with no mobility also have options. For instance, a friend of Russ' was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. He was quadriplegic at one point, and the doctors told his family that there was no way he was ever going to walk again. Well, 10 years later, Tim drives a handicapped van, he can use his arms, and goes through extensive therapy to re-learn to walk. That is inspiring. And if that isn't an example of changing your life when people say you can't, then I don't know what is.
Anything is possible, friends. Just believe.

I can understand the desire to accomplish climbing Mt. Everest. Someone I know recently went to Africa and climbed Kilimanjaro. I'm not friends with him, really, so I don't know exactly what his feelings are on it, but it's something to be proud of, I think.
I suppose, there's a right way and a wrong way to climb. I'm sure if you prepare yourself for all foreseeable emergencies, you can make the climb safely.
That said, I would never do that. Lol. I'll jump off the Stratosphere in LV all day long, but not climb a mountain

Its one of those weeks, my Mam's sister (my favourite aunt) died this morning at 4am after a short but brutal battle with cancer. Nobdy expected this rapid exit.
She had a great life and she was a fucking legend still, looking at how small, old, sad and lost my Mam looked last night actually gave me a pain in my chest.
Old age and decay...I am thinking I won't take part. I think I'll take myself out first. When the doc tells me I'm for the glue factory then its out with a bottle of jack, a bag of green, my GNR vinyls and a glock!
Sorry to hear, friend. I hope your mother feels better soon, and you of course as well.
PS I have decided not to get old, too. Just not taking myself out with a glock

Hey Will, the search function doesn't work for me. Is it just me?

Is this thing still going?
Unfortunately, yes.
I do have to interject here, too, though to say that I am not at all offended by the art. Now, if they had the art with some just blatantly derogatory text in place that called her all sorts of foul names, that might change my tune, but I think the art is just fine. Despite Will's apprehension to hang it in his house with his girlfriend, I wouldn't mind if Russ hung this in our basement. It's not over-the-sofa art, but it can work in our rock area

...my theory that they are watched over by aliens disguised as nuns or angels....
They are making Jude and Lana's characters great. (JUST GIVE JESSICA LANGE ALL THE AWARDS, DAMMIT) Same with Devil Sister Mary too. Would of liked to see a little more for Kit & Arden's character development, hopefully the next 2 episodes will do that. I'm just hoping they don't leave all these details until the very end.Who I am kidding? I'm tuning in no matter what.
Thoughts?
I'm hope I'm right in thinking the "aliens" thing is off base. I hate when Hollywood tries to stretch things too far. I don't think aliens have a place in this story. I hadn't thought of the purgatory thing as valid until last night when the Angel of Death was there. Now I'm on board.
What do you mean you saw a little flash toward the end with Grace? I will check it out again tonight but want to make sure I know what to look for.
Jude's character is great. Last night when she was confused, I felt so bad for her. Lana is just. Wow. Poor Lana. Sister Mary Eunice makes me want to jump through the TV and choke her out. I could deal with seeing more of Kit to find out what happens to him after the end of last night's episode, but Arden I can take or leave, especially with the PI dead and if his story is not directly tied to the Anne Frank character, I just don't care.
I'm almost okay with them leaving all the details until the end. I like a suspenseful and resolving final episode

Honest to God, I think this is the first time in the history of GN'R forums that someone's called her a "skank". Perla on the other hand.... she's been called that ad nusuem
Well. I calls em like I sees em.

It was really more like the band playing nice with her and having fun with her than anything. BBF wasn't involved in that. It was Tommy putting the bass on her and DJ slinging his guitar around her back and then grabbing a camera and filming her with the bass around her neck.
Ali
You were there, right? I'm sure you would know better in that case.
The picture I saw was of Bumblefoot standing next to her helping her place her hands on the bass. I can link it later once I am at home, but Bumblefoot retweeted it from Twitter user @Axls_Rose.
