just checked the Billboard charts and Chinese Democracy in now in the Top Ten Mainstream Rock songs. it moved up 4 spots from #12 to #8. definitely good news there! here's the link:

don't get me wrong...i think they are both great songs. i just think prostitute sounds more contemporary and would be a slightly better fit as a single. of course, i REALLY like prostitute, so that could be clouding my judgment.

i like there was a time, but i don't think it will be a single. my guess is the ballad single will either be prostitute or street of dreams. i'm hoping for prostitute.

yeah i really like the upbeat lyrics in scraped. i also really appreciate the different vocal techniques for different states of mind. very cool

if you wanna preview the track, meaning just until it starts skipping, don't pick scraped. unless you wanna hear millions of axls vocalizing.

i really dig scraped too, so that gets my vote. i like all the others, but i loved scraped immediately. axl sounds AWESOME by the way...it really does have an old school vibe to it.
