I think its awesome. Obviously something is holding up Axl from releasing the next Guns N' Roses album, so this is a way for his fans to enjoy his singing. I haven't been this pumped up about a release in a long time.

Like - the last thing i want Baz to do is go make some modern style alternative emo rock bullshit. He is one of the dying breed of people who can do that 1980s rock sound....so i say if it sounds just like it could have been on "Skid Row" along with "Piece of me" then i say - hell yeah - i'm getting what i hoped for...
yep thats exactly what it is. . this song could have been a skid row song back in the day. i actually think Axl's presence on it will make it sound not all that different from an early-era GnR song.

It'll be interesting to see if Axl's vocals (which Bach claims this song is more of a duet and Axl is prominent on this track) change anyones minds and make the song any better.

no Axl there, and the song is nothing particularly special, but its a pretty good rocker. The guitar solos are fantastic! Bach sounds good too.

I dont get why everyone is so harsh towards Beta. I think its jealousy.
Anyways, its not unnormal for a celeberty to have their assistant or a PR rep go into a room first and check out the scene, even if just for security reasons.

I think it's a combination of Baz asking him to be on the album and then it just took off with him winding up doing 3 songs and it's 2 fold helps Baz's album and also helps Axl getting himself out there on something official. They were going to team up in the past so why not now.

some people will look for any reason to bash whatever Axl is doing. I don't get how any GnR fan wouldn't be fucking PSYCHED to hear that Axl is singing lead vocals on Back in the Saddle. That alone makes buying this album worthwhile.

Yeah, Axl and Bach could potentially do for Back in the Saddle what U2 did with Helter Skelter.
I like Motley Crue's cover better 
but yea its nice to have of excitement again about getting to hear Axl sing.
