I don't know if the public gives ANY band notice for being 'credible' - just make music that sounds good and give good shows, from the leaks and the shows I've seen, the 'new' band has done this. The general public doesn't know Slash or Axl that well - so who cares. And music fans will shrug off 'it's not the original band' based on the music.

Really, uh, I doubt Universal's bean counters think a reunion will milk the money out. Axl is enough personality.

Guys - here's how it works:

Google Ads doesn't just DUMP money into your bank account. It's paid out at certain increments - sometimes QUARTERS. If there's a complaint that construes a violation of the Google Ad TOS, they'll NOT pay out the money you accrued.

There were no funds retroactively taken - but the money wasn't paid out. That's how it works.

It 'smells' fine from that standpoint.

The SR leaks have a vocal finishing the other leaks don't.

And, btw, the song is 'mastered' for Rockband 2, not an album, and we're getting it compressed...2 generations of compression.

OH - and this is great! All the "Axl never said any dates before, technically" people are stupid - he did, there is a reason why people have been tuned in for so long - it's perpetually been on the horizon. Yeah, I'm living my life, and I'm not twidling my thumbs waiting (on my worst days I post on GNR forums too much), but still - it's not like we're crazy. It's always been on the horizon and "close"...
