With how much people concentrated on Florida during this epdemic, it seems the media has totally ignored how awful New York has handled this. They were treating Cuomo like a God... And I never understood it. He's been terrible, if not the worst governor in the crisis. Shouldn't it be bigger news New York is throwing away vaccines?
I disagree about my New York if you take into consideration some context.
The city of New York is a hub for world travel perhaps like no other city on the planet. It was hit first and it was hit hardest.
I’d argue the other states who had much more time to prepare and still did nothing rank at the bottom of this list.
The Wisconsins of this country did a bottom of the barrel job and still are. You have state legislatures more concerned about finding which powers they can take from the governor in many states over 2020 than legislation that actually accomplished anything.
Your criticism of NY seems sensational as anything to me.
Cuomo has been a disaster. First sending all folks to the nursing homes killing thousands for no reason.
Then bitched about Ventilators and lack of room so Trump said a float hospital and more Vents than they could use, they didn’t use either of them.
They then shut down their entire economy and let riots happen, there was a mass exodus.
Now after Biden is elected and days away from inauguration he says it is time to open the economy and can’t wait to vaccinate everyone.
He down played Covid at first along with Deblasio. They said to keep riding the subway. They attacked Trump. Trump was right.
Contrast with Florida that didn’t shut down long and is blowing them away with Vaccine distribution.

We were planning to shut down the Capitol Building but the authorities were so scared of this #WomensWave that they shut it down for us.

For weeks, Trump had urged his supporters to go to D.C. to stop the certification of election results. Several simultaneous rallies are planned, including the “wild rally” on the Capitol lawn, as this supporter-made map shows. pic.twitter.com/Gr8dwKJPSl

At 12:17 p.m., about 15 minutes into his speech, Trump calls on his supporters to walk to the Capitol. While his speech would go on for another hour, some of the president’s supporters already start walking toward the congressional building. pic.twitter.com/zdqWLf9lG2

— Haley Willis (@heytherehaley) January 12, 2021There also was ample time to plant the RNC bomb. We’ll find out who it was eventually, could have been someone affiliated with the far right or left.
At 12:47 p.m., Capitol Police respond to a report of a pipe bomb at the Republican National Committee building, just a block away from the congressional building. Another device is later discovered at the nearby Democratic National Committee.

I just say that because many point to that speech saying it was in that speech that he incited the riot. What you say may be true, but that also takes away some that it was "that" speech that motivated breach.

No one has ever doubted cops were involved. It's been talked about in liberal circles since day one. It's easier to start seeing the big picture when not having to pretend every five minutes that BLM-ANTIFA were responsible.
Ok, so cops involved.... And maybe some “actors” to jump start it all. If you already think Cops turned everything is on the table. Remember, the hundreds of thousands of Trump folks are about 15-20 minute walk away. Who knows who all was in that initial group of 100 people or so.

slashsfro wrote:Wait this "actor" theory has been floating around? Trump and/his cultists must really think his supporters are real morons. That's one of the dumber things I've read.
Yep....this is the second time this week they've pushed the Antifa narrative on their base and yes....they believe their base is dumber than dogshit. They know they'll believe anything.
It's bizarre. I check the conservative sub on reddit a lot. I like to know what both sides are saying. You can literally see their crazy talking points ignite and then spread like wildfire.
I called it right before the deflecting and other shit started here. I was just shocked that they had went back to the Antifa well again so I went to check.
Sure as shit there it was.... blaming Antifa again. Couple days ago they told Trumpers to stop blaming Antifa because they didn't deserve the credit for the chaos done in the name of Trump. They stopped and went back to the whataboutism distractions and big tech rants. That stopped working so now it's Antifa to blame again. It's pure stupidity of course and dollars to donuts they're back to deflecting and big tech by sunrise.
It's surreal. It's like an alt right Borg spreading their "alternate facts" mixed with layers of whataboutism.

Who walked past security and placed the bombs? Trump peeps or security themselves? We have at least 15 cops being looked at. You had the mayor refusing national guard help. A lot strange coincidences, or maybe you don’t believe in “coincidences”. Did some Trump people cause damage and storm the Capitol? Yes. Were they alone in this operation or did they have help from someone/something? Yes. They did.
