That "Floyd" thing really hit me about a month ago. It really reminds me of Animals-era Floyd.

Exactly! It is slow and menacing, an angry song-but not a typical angry gnr song, it still strikes home with lyrical fangs sinking deep...
(I love Animals as well)  Another one I find myself drawn to especially when driving, is Shackler's- very aggressive-and it feeds my road rage. I relate to the highs and lows of Scraped as well, can totally relate to the lyrics. 5

If you Really want to rattle a religious salesman, ask them about the apocrophia...the scrolls that were not canonized for some unknown reason. Or ask them where exactly in the bible it mentions when Jesus was born- and where it says to celebrate it (it doesn't)
  Mention how christians hijacked Christmas AND easter from pagans because they couldn't make them stop celebrating them-and ask them WTF chocolate bunnies and eggs have to do with their version!
Or....crank up Black Sabbath's NIB and elaborate on how that song changed your life....

I actually don't want any more leaks, I would like to hear the next release fresh and clean, blaring from my stereo so loud it makes the windows rattle, while kicked back enjoying the finer aspects of intoxication from the music and the smell of hashish in my hookah. smile  I actually dislike labels, and some of the suppositions and conspiracy theories are amusing, some are just annoying.Whether someone is referred to as a hater or a nutswinger they all have an interest in what's the current situation
with GNR--or is it simply a bad obsession?:P

Next release?  Oh man we're about another 11 years away from that.

sarcasm and/or pessimism noted; but I doubt 11 years is a valid
estamation, d' sooner d' better......but I have time and other Albums, to listen to and concerts to attend in the meantime.:thumbup:

At least even when opinions vary,and invariably they will fall into conflict-gnr is a band that has very opinionated fans- it is dicussed here and doesn't fall into the pissing contest that permeate almost every other forum! We can agree to disagree without playground politics.
As for gnronline-who can forget Xozi and renato ?? crazy nights!!
