I really think Bach would be a huge step backwards... it's like replacing Sammy Hagar with Gary Cherone.

These guys did everything they could to separate themselves from the 80s hair metal image from the beginning... I can't see them getting someone like that now... they need a rock singer.  Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes would be perfect.

So you would rather they sound like the 70's???

Comparing Bach to  Cherone is a crime lol But Chris is a good singer, but self admitted to 70's retro

21 On the search for a new frontman:

"There's some people, but it's really premature to start naming names. We actually worked with a guy, I won't mention his name, before we left to go to the UK and there just wasn't enough to break him in, so we're gonna work with him again some more, and maybe some other guys as well."

On Weiland's recommendation that the band hire former SKID ROW vocalist Sebastian Bach:

"I thought [Weiland] could be a little bit more imaginative. I'm not sure if that was meant to be a pot shot or what. Whatever, it's not worth any real drama."

Scarlett, just show up right before Poison's set starts. When I went to the Treasure Island festival last year, M.I.A. was the only artist I cared about seeing. I did other things in Frisco that day, and about an hour before her set was gonna start, we headed on over to Treasure Island. The band before her was playing, so we went to various booths and bought tshirts and shit until their set was over.

That's what we would probably end up doing, as our ears couldn't handle another shrieking and non-stop swearing Baz. I'm no prude, and neither is my husband by any means, but too much of something can be a bad thing, if you catch my drift. Every other word out of his mouth is "fucking". One guy at the GNR concert screamed out "enough, Baz!", as he couldn't stand it anymore. 14 On stage, when he's singing, you can barely understand a word he's singing, it all blends together. My family did love Papa Roach, though, and thought they were second best to GNR that night. 9

another shrieking and non-stop swearing Baz

There is only one cus word on the whole CD Angel Down.

Credits can be misleading. GN'R liner notes would have you believe Slash didn't have any part in writing the epic ballads.

But singers are always overrated in the credits and the lists shows very clearly that Skid Row wasn't Sebastian Bach. He had an amazing vice and the girls really liked him, but he cannot write a song, really. I remember them telling a story in their heyday (STG) that Baz did know nothing about the instruments and he had the habit to ask someone to start this or that song on stage, when the song started with another instrument.

This post makes no sense. Baz has written/co written some great songs.
Baz even said not long ago Rachel & Dave where 2 of the best song writers he new They just don't anymore. Listen to his music listen to what they put out with out him,it's not Rocket Science to hear & the melody & who has the better songs.

At this point I don't care who he is playing with. I just want to see him get out
there & kick some Ass,His LIVE DVD is coming & the band is already cutting demo there next Cd  which Baz said will be out sooner than some might think.

VELVET REVOLVER Drummer: SCOTT WEILAND Is 'Healthy And Ready To Rock' - Mar. 7, 2008

VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum has issued the following update:

"[VELVET REVOLVER] just landed in Dubai. This place is so cool. And wild. Dubai is a long way from California. Have been flying over 24 hours after a stop in Frankfurt, Germany. Cannot wait to rock tomorrow. Play a big festival here with the MUSE. Then we head up to Dublin for two gigs, then over to England, Scotland finishing up in Belgium, Germany and Amsterdam.

"Scott [Weiland, VR vocalist] is healthy and ready to rock. We are all ready to get back on stage and play for all you fine people. See you rockers soon."

Weiland on Wednesday pleaded innocent to drunk-driving charges following his November arrest in Los Angeles.

Weiland is free on $40,000 bail and is due back in court for a hearing on April 4.

If convicted, he faces up to one year behind bars because he has a prior conviction for driving under the influence.

He was pulled over by police on November 21 on a Hollywood freeway and was taken into custody after refusing to take a sobriety test.

Baz is Skid Row? 16 This guy has become a joke, he didn't even write the lyrics and melodies, just some of them. I still think he's an amazing singer and frontman but without the others he'd have been Poison Part II, with no music and shitty lyrics. Snake and Rachel Bolan wrote 90% of the songs, Baz was important and irreplacable, but Skid Row wasn't only him. Five guys made the band, and even Scotti and Rob Affuso were really important since they were the best musicians in the band. Five gyuys made the band, not the singer. I'm sick of these singers who act like music wouldn't matter. 17

He did write lyrics and melodies. He wrote all the lyrics to the songs
Wasted Time & Fire Sign,he wrote the B verse to In a Darken room
He wrote almost all of the song Slave to the grind &  even added melody
& lyrichs he was not credited for on the first record.;)

Of course it took all 5 to make the CDs but every time you saw a pic
of the band in a magazine back in the day there where 3 or 4 more of just
Bach & by 91 most on the interviews where done by him.

Scotti & Rob where very important epecialy since Scotti play's the majority
of the Lead Guitar even though Snake was credited most of the time for it.

Rob is probably the most level headed He & Baz have done several shows together since the demise of Skid Row.
