JB, its passed being in "lame ass" mode and "selling out" or "abandonment".
Pandora's Box has just been opened, and NO ONE knows how its gonna turn out.
Axl hires new management, VR implodes with Weiland ranting that the VR bandmates were "covering up the truth", and Finck all of a sudden decides to do a world tour with NIN.
All this happened in the span of about a week regarding people who go YEARS without doing or saying anything.
Coincidence?
I think not.
JB, you've known me quite a long time and I have always wanted CD and a followup album over a reunion any day of the week.
But its time for everyone to look at the reality of the situation. We may be seeing the implosion of the CD era right before our very eyes.
its a pipe dream. none of that stuff points to a reunion happening. its just not gonna happen. i'll put money on it.
if it did, i would seriously delete every account on every GnR forum. it would be absolute bullshit, and thats why I know its not gonna happen.

Now Robin looks like he's taken his GNR look, shaved a little facial hair and taken it to NIN. The funny thing is, I wouldn't mind if he'd look like that in GNR. Axl and Robin have grown so together in the past years, I personally think it's a great opportunity for both to have Robin check out the NIN camp again, pick up some new tricks and try out his wings as someone who has a chance to challenge Trent as far as stage presence goes, and then come back to Axl at least one more step away from all those Slash comparisons.
fucking brilliant post man. Axl and Robin are the perfect frontman/lead guitar combo, I really hope we see them on stage together again.

for those of us who like and respect Robin, we will get to see him do what he does best this year - perform.
Well yes, but I'm not here to see him in NIN or performing with NIN.
And I haven't even mentioned the moral dilemma of playing in two big bands at the same time. Maybe Axl is just nicer than what I am.
moral dilemma? are you fucking kidding me? If Robin is cool with it, and Axl is cool with it, and Trent is cool with it, then where is the moral dilemma? Thats not to say they are, we don't know.

that can't be real. thanks for posting anyways.

So, best case, Finck is still in GNR and that means another year of nothing. And that is your BEST case scenario.
from a GnR perspective, that is correct.
for those of us who like and respect Robin, we will get to see him do what he does best this year - perform.

now that the reunion is coming, he's out bc of the negative things he has said against slash.
are you fucking kidding me?
there is no basis at all to jump to this conclusion. none what so ever.
fuck a reunion. this isn't about bringing back guys who left the band 10-15 years ago. That ship sailed years ago.. this is about Robin Finck and Guns N' Roses.

you guys are ignorant and if you really feel that way, you probably aren't even fans of the band and haven't seen them live. Robin is the soul of GnR and without him, they might as well call it quits.
I am hoping he hasn't left for good, and I do like him in NIN, and if GnR isn't going to do anything right now, I'm glad he's touring with Trent. If he's left GnR, that sucks, and my interest in the band would go down to the point where i'd probably only check these boards a couple times a month to see what the news is.
PLEASE stop with resorting to insults the moment someone disagrees with you.
they're insulting members of the band.
