Congrats on your find.
Why not post a 15 second clip on youtube to prove you have the video? It'll quiet all the non-believers (myself included btw) and it proves to anyone hoarding tracks that you have what you claim.
I doubt someone will send a sample of Shackler to you in advance, there would be nothing stopping you then approaching other hoarders you've contacted to claim you have the full track
I guess I'm going to just have to find a way to sleep at night knowing that you don't believe me, d-liner.
I've already given somebody a 6-7 second clip who I firmly know has ties to individuals who either have possesion of certain 'gems' or know of those who do. I know the person won't betray my trust and I know it'll end up being seen by the right person(s). Those are the only people that I am concerned with believing me. Unless you have something of interest, d-liner. Maybe then I'd be more caring.
<EDIT> I suppose that I should add that it doesn't necessarily have to be a 5 second clip via email or PM. Playing a clip over the phone TO SHOW PROOF, could also result in a negotiation. That way, individuals like d-liner, don't think that I have ulterior motives aside from actually obtaining music.

On topic, I wish you luck trying to get something with that, because I really think you're gonna need it. I realize that footage might be a hardcore collector's wet dream(and thats what you're banking on), but most interest in that has seemed to die down. I am a hardcore Bucket supporter and I could easily live without ever seeing it. Most feel the same, although that might actually help you in your quest as the person you happen to trade with would know there's no huge demand for it to be exposed.
I completely agree with your assesment. I really do. I personally don't know if the "demand" is high myself. I'm just hoping that it is worth it to someone who has something to offer in return. I could lie and say I have 'The General" or an 'Atlas Shrugged' demo, but ultimately it would be a lie and I'd have to do my damndest to manipulate the other individual without being able to offer proof. With this, send me a few seconds of Axl's vocals on 'Shackler' or possibly something else, and I'll send you a 5 minute AVI file of unseen footage. From there, if they're interested, which I'm sure they will be, we'll continue with business.
Question: Have you run into anyone legitimate claiming to have the HOB DVD or the I Don't Care About You video?

You should have gone the silent route with the footage. Now that they know you'll share it all, the number of hoarders willing to 'help' decreases significantly.
Not much to be done about that now though. Let's just hope.
As I've stated at mygnr and chinesedemocracy.com, nothing will come from me. If somebody has 'Shackler' or another rare gem - and is interested in trading and then leaking it themself, that's there own ass. It won't come from me, and I maintain that. Can't afford the drama with it. Believe me.
I'm just saying, things tend to surface in time. Especially with the more hands that it passes through. That's all I was insinuating. Never did I intend to make it sound like I would "share" anything.

Yeah, that chump BP decided to ban me and make up shit saying I've been banned from every gunner board. Actually, I have active accounts here, mygnr, newgnr - so go figure. The guy is a fucking useless hand puppet if I've ever seen one. Bumble graced his stupid ass with an interview so he's decided to act as though he's part of the camp's management team. I already opened up a new account under the name Incognito's Revenge. Re-posted my thread offering my 19 minutes of footage for a new track. Even willing to part with it for 'Shackler'. Before any of you start your, "I'm a lying attention whore" - save it. I have never publically claimed to have anything aside from this - and it was absolute dumb luck that I even came across it during my 'money to charity for leaks' venture. The footage is 19 mins of rehearsal footage which includes the footage that leaked a couple years back. There are more people than 1 who have this. The guy I got it from had nothing to do with any of these forums. Trust me when I said it was dumb luck. I thought I was about to secure a different mix of a 'Blues' demo that was supposed to be a guitar driven intro vice the piano. Never panned out and I ended up with this. I can honestly say, I've never had much interest in getting it, but when the guy told me that he had it and was willing to deal for it, I figured, what the hell. The footage is cool. Axl even disses on Bucket for a second. Says some funny shit.
Anyway, I'm not looking for attention, or to "hoard" from the community, I'm just interested in seeing if something else could surface if this little gem were used properly. Again, I hope that each and every one of you have it soon. I honestly mean that. But for now, it's a bartering tool - and one that I intend on using. Maybe eventually, our riches will be even greater.

I originally didn't think it was legit, but a phone call changed my mind. The law firm was legitimate and the individual who sent it to me did in fact work at that firm. If they don't represent Axl, I don't know why he would have sent it to me.

If multiple people have sorry (assuming they all have the same version) it would be harder for the guns camp to pinpoint exactly who leaked it. So perhaps that is a posibbility.
I honestly think 'Sorry' will surface in the next batch of leaks. I can't elaborate much as to why I think this, but I'd be surprised if the song doesn't surface sometime in the following months. I also expect the next leaks (after Shackler) will be song titles that we've never heard of, or more song #4, song #5 type of stuff. I don't believe Chinese Democracy will come out this year, but I'm hoping that we get several more songs in the next leak that force this album to come out sometime in the forseeable future.
But Shackler's would have to be a high chance of leaking next (as a side note unlike other pathetic comments I have read on various sites I believe this will have nothing to do with pirates).
I agree with that pathetic comments remark. I used to really like mygnr but as of lately it's becoming more and more of a playground filled with 9 year old mentalities. Four or 5 stupid ass 'pirate' threads in the main section all mainly started by one individual is beyond pathetic.
What kind of a charge can they make up for inciting/requesting leaks??
If I remember correctly, they called it 'incitement to infringement'. (something like that)

the only hoarders left right now seem to be very wealthy ones, so $ may not matter. people only want to trade. shackler's revenge could probably be secured for a grand, but nobody will pay it as it could leak on its own at any time. everyone is hoping their tracks aren't on CD1 thinking value will go up when the first volume hits stores. "never had it" has been mentioned a lot lately, but until i hear it, it could just be silliness. hmmmm.
During my 2 week hunt, I encountered an individual who I believed to be legitimate, but he didn't seem motivated much by money either. He really wanted to trade for something vice the cash payoff. He claimed to have 'Sorry' and insisted the only reason he would trade off that particular song was because he knew of multiple people having it and knew it was only a matter of time before it surfaced anyway.
I also dealt with a different individual which eventually led to a phone conversation where he played about a minute of a song over the phone which he called 'Never Had it'. It was a rocker. Kind of sounded like a low quality demo, something like the first IRS. It definitely sounded like Axl's vocals. If it wasn't, it was the best damn impersonator that I have ever heard.
Sometime after the June 18 leaks, I received a cease and desist from the law offices of Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes. They claimed to represent Axl Rose and demanded that I immediately stop inciting and requesting leaks. They wanted me to send them in writing that I would stop immediately. I never did send it in writing, but I did comply with their request.
I think Shackler will be the next song we get. I'll be stunned if something else surfaces before that. I agree with MSL, the few other songs that seem to be in circulation will be costly. The FBI propaganda that the gunner camp spread around after the leaks doesn't help matters either.
