My take on the Hall last night. The guys that were there seemed to have a fantastic time. They seemed proud of the work they accomplished. As for their performance. From what I saw and heard, the band was tight and Myles Kennedy was pretty good. Was he Axl quality and by that I mean the Axl from back then? No but no one could. But Kennedy was as good as anyone could've been. I'm happy for the guys that were there. As for Axl. Fuck him. His loss. This could've been an opportunity for him to look back on the amazing work they all did. And it wouldn't have meant that a reunion had to follow. And it didn't have to diminish Nu GNR. Anyways Axl does a good job at diminishing Nu GNR by himself anyways by not releasing new music from that band. I bet that the people that were there had fun even though Axl wasn't there.

Yeah right i dont know anything about rrhof being in australia do you think it could be a last min decsion i would like to see them play but having a replacement singer want go down well who ever it is
Why wouldn't it? Happened with other bands before. If it is Myles Kennedy it could be anyone who is attending. Hell could be the lead singer of Green day. As long as the others are cool. It can happen.

Every year, if the band don't play, somebody will play songs from the band being inducted. Axl won't show up and yet, all the others wanna play. So what do you do? You find somebody to replace the one that won't play. In this case Axl. If the rest of the guys are cool with Kennedy singing then that is what everybody will get.

But yet again people put out how *wrong* it is for Axl to continue with GNR and release Chinese Democracy with a bunch of hicks but yet Myles and Slash playing at the Hall of Fame is alright because "it's better than nothing".

So by reading a few posts. I can se that Axl not going is not appreciated and at the same time Izzy not going makes him cool and a bad ass. Why the double standard?

I'm sorry if this offends people. But Axl is being really childish. We all know he refuses to go because of Slash. At this point he should say why he hates the gy so much or let bygones be bygones.

While I have always believed that Axl has more than his share of faults on the demise of GNR. I've always believed that he ain't the only one to blame. Slash definitely has his share of fault in this. And the others probably have their faults too. But I've always said that Slash could be more to blame than what the majority think. Does it mean Axl should be exonarated? Nope! But I wouldn't put all the blame on him.

I'm not a mind reader. Slash lies and plays to the media. Don't believe me? Read his fucking book. He tells the story about how Axl got the GNR name at least twice and both are very different stories.
