EPIC FAIL of the year 2015

I couldn't disagree with you anymore. Can't we chalk it up to the amazing coaching staff and the level of preparedness that that particular player had to be in that spot at that time? The only way that play ends in an interception is if the defender knows exactly what the play is before the play begins. The only way that that player knows that is that they are properly prepared by coaches.

Beyond all of that, if you still think it's wise to call a run play when the defense is in goal line formation and they have at least five huge bodies on the defensive line then I don't think you understand football very well. In addition to that, Seattle put out three wide receivers which means at least one WR will be covered by a linebacker. That's a massive miss match that Seattle should have been able to take advantage of.  That being said, with them only been 1 yard away from the goal line I would probably have called a run in that situation, but I'm sitting on my couch watching the Super Bowl from 1000 miles away. No one is asking me my opinion.

I think the patriots will be pardoned because it's in the best interest of the NFL to put this behind them.

If I'm completely honest...I don't care about the ever so slightly deflated balls. I just wish that they didn't feel that they had to bend/break rules when they are already arguably the best franchise of my life time.

For the record....I don't criticize the Hawks for the play call either. You should pass when a team is in goal line D and the O has three wide outs.

Really want this one after the deflategate shit. So fucking stupid. They will absolutely be exonerated.

Lot of Bears fans on the board as far as I remember. Any thoughts on the game tonight?

Yep, this one was extremely satisfying considering all the nonsense over the last few weeks. A game for the ages. Back and forth, multiple momentum swigs. Gutsy calls, some that worked, some that didn't. It had a little bit of everything. I could not believe Kearse made that catch to set them up at the 5. All Pats fans were thinking, "not again". But, the defense stepped up and made a play this time, unlike in 2007.

As for the deflated balls. I too think it's going to be hard for the NFL to come up with definitive evidence against the Pats to prove they did anything intentionally. So the question is, can/will they punish them regardless? I think they feel they have to to save some face. If they let them off the hook, this whole thing was a huge waste of time. And while that's exactly what it's been, there are plenty of people who think otherwise and would be outraged if there's no penalty. So they're probably going to succumb to the pressure and levy a fine to the Pats. That's how I see it playing out.

But let's play along and assume the worst. Say they're guilty. They knowingly played the Colts with deflated balls. Heck, maybe they played some other games with deflated balls too. Maybe even in previous years. The balls in the 2nd half against the Colts were pumped back up and they outscored them 28-0. The 1st half, it was 17-7. The balls in the Super Bowl were on the level, and they won. So what does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? How much of an advantage does it actually give you? Nobody really knows. In the Colts game, you could argue that it held them back. The Colts should try to improve their team from within. Build a somewhat capable defense to give them a shot at winning. Stop trying to make excuses as to why a team continues to kill you, other than they're just worlds better. Simple as that.

While on the surface, this all makes sense to me....but this is too convoluted and complicated.

If a rule is violated....knowingly or not....it is still a violation. Otherwise....why bother having any rules at all?

Why will they be exonerated? Because you said so?

I think the pats have a real chance to win. I really think this will be down to the wire?

Set up the scene.

On Labor Day weekend in 2012, I lay quietly asleep in my bed. I remember distinctly waking up for seconds at a time to a jostling of sorts a few times. Close my eyes....close my eyes again.

Silence...

At at bit past 5 am, at the W hotel in Seattle Washington, I awake to a 200 pound man laying on top of me....in his underwear.....weeping. I am 155 on a fat, bloated, bender of a weekend.

After a very bizarre sequence of events....I find myself sprinting from the hotel room without my wallet or suitcase.

I spent the entire night looking out over the Puget sound wondering what I was going to do for the night, let alone with my share of the business. You see...I knew this man well enough to guess what was going to happen next.

I was right....

I had spurned his advances. This closet homosexual man with a PhD in entitlement was going to respond....and respond hard.

God....the Puget sound was pretty that night. The smell of fresh sea food, and the sound of happy people was overpowering.

On the flight home 2 days later, he insisted on sitting next to me. The hatred that had built up in me was boiling over. It was the best I could do just to keep silent.

Not because I have prejudice against anyone. It was because this man had falsely represented himself for years.

Almost exactly 6 months later,  I was served with an order...not a request....an order to dissolve the company and allow him to continue on as 100 percent owner.

From 3 different lawyers with 3 different arguments.

The last 5 years of my life has been a whirlwind. The life experience and education that has occurred over that time has been second to none. I feel the desire to share my story. I hope you won't mind listening.

In the summer of 2006, I loaded up my car with everything that I could fit in it . And it wasn't much. I came bright eyed and bushy tailed. I had all the desire and willingness without any idea what the rules were in the big city . I came here broke and oblivious.

The lessons that the big city has taught me cannot be overstated. In a world with no father figure, no money, and no skills, and no connections....I can only describe this as the epitome of starting over. Laisez-faire....

The city taught me to be a man when no one or nothing else cared to do so.

Fast forward 8 years.....

After engaging in a business partnership that proved enormously successful, the opposite member of said business partnership awoke at the 5 am hour to his naked body laying on top me at a professional conference in which we are to present as a unit less than a few hours later.

He strokes my hair gently as I wake up and attempt to push him away. He repeats over and over again, "are we going to be okay?".....

Months later the most bitter dissolution of business practice commenced in which he took most of the business.

I had to start over...while he took all client referral sources.

In the ensuing months this man bashed me to anyone that would listen. This included showing up unannounced to meet with my clients.

This brings us to October 2012....would you like to know more?

It's kind of crazy that it still exists. Especially considering the whole issue surrounding about 2008. What do you think?

By 2008 are you saying the RosesofVelvet thing?   Just wondering.  Yeah, I always thought more of an open ended topic might be cool.   One thing I always really wondered was who Darknemus [sp?] was over at HTGTH??   I remember he was a bit incosistant with his news & updates now & then, but on the other hand he did have the presale links.  So he had to be tied into the music industry somehow.  Did any word ever leak about that over there, as to what he did?

Yea....I think so....I remember the original site up and dying one day....can't recall the details
