i dont think that's the reason why he would want it fictional.
more like a fat ass lawsuit which could be coming his way thereafter is what prompted that thought.....it would cost him all the potential cash he could make off a feature film....and he seems to be on a roll currently with income streaming in from all sources...doubt he'd want to fuck that up....

Apparently, in the brazilian issue of the Rolling Stone, Marc Canteris quoted as saying that one of the problems is that Merck never renewed the album deal last year, thus making it very hard to deal with the record company.
If this is the case, then why the fuck don't they just go somewhere else?

Yeah I don't think Baz is that manipulative or cunning to basically play off all the ex GNR members in an attempt to get back in the limelight. I'm sure he saw the opportunities when he tried out for VR but when he got rejected I doubt thought 'hmmmph I'll try Axl then!' The Axl Baz thing was a chance thing for Baz imo initiated by Axl, I'd say Baz just got lucky with that.
i agree, but i bet you Baz is pretty relieved now that he never got the VR gig....:laugh:

Fortunately for him, he's wasted less time than someone like Finck who basically wasted his career away.
we don't know that its been a waste....that's just an assumption.....and why would they give a shit in anycase? if they are employees, then they will get a salary for their work.....its a job, like any other....whether the album comes out or not why should they care....?...they all have the freedom to do their own shit....and most of them do....
they actually have really good lives....

Unfortunately, I am going to have to disagree. I'd say the majority of shit Axl receives from his fans and the media is more than well deserved.
Also, I don't see what this message from BBF is supposed to be opening our eyes too ??
Instead of playing comedian, it'd be nice if he actually gave some relevant information about the album.

i agree with you....Axl can easily get the press and media on his side....so any media slack he may receive is easily avoided by him....he just chooses not to....also, Ron is cool, Ron is great, but after a while these kinds of things get a bit boring....

One thing he said here which I never heard before was that it wasn't Axl that forbid him from the Vegas show in 02 it was GNR management at the time. He said that they felt it would be bad for Axl to see him there.
he said that a few times before....the correct wording was "i'm pretty sure its the management, not Axl".....he didn't confirm it was either of the two, just said that he thinks its the management...
he said it in that radio interview early 06, andd a few times after that...actually every time someone asks him about that show....
