I love when people try to use education (or lack tehreof) as an excuse for why their candidate lost. The least educated demographic in this country are Blacks who have a <50% high school graduation rate. And they overwhelmingly vote Democratic and have for 100 years. When the least educated are a core part of your constituency, you lose all credibility attack the intelligence/education of the other party.
I'm commenting on a demographic that is consistently referred to through all media....liberal and conservative leaning. This is not an insult.

"college-educated whites went for Trump, 49-45 percent."
thats not the margin that won it for him

Way to learn nothing from what has happened!
Markets are up this morning. So much for that doom and gloom...
What is their to learn? You act as though the Republican Party has reinvented itself.

Never ceases to amaze how powerful a slogan 'lets get our country back' seems to be to certain folks. They used it for brexit without anybody really stopping and asking what it means and it's worked for Trump as well. I guess both sides of the pond are about to find out.
Our country back from whom?
From the Democratic party that has been importing voters since the 60s. No more anchor babies - the only reason they get citizenship now is because Johnson declared them citizens. Trump can change all of that and Congress will back him. Your dreams of turning texas Blue by an open gate of new DNC voters just shit the bed.
It's time to get on board. The Democratic party had its ass knocked the fuck out last night. No more pretending men can become women with the stroke of a pen. All those illiterate Syrians Clinton wanted to bring in, they'll never step on our soil.
8 years ago you all claimed the GOP was done for a generation. How many pundits and experts predicted complete Democratic control for the next 30 years? Everything Obama accomplished is going to be erased with a couple signatures. Obama will be a President kids spend 2 days on during February every year.
So do what all of us did 8 years ago when you guys thought Obama was going to be the 2nd coming. Support the president and look at each issue on its own. The Democrats already set precedent by removing the filibuster. Obama expanded the role of the executive. Time to reap what you sow.
In the end, all the fake shock and awe around Trump wasn't enough to fool most of America into recognizing Hillary Clinton was as corrupt, manipulative and secretive as any candidate has ever been. Her name and face will never appear on any currency and she'll stain the credibility of her party for the next 10 years.
That's all find and dandy I guess. But at the end of the day, it's still have our country to. And I refuse to line behind the biggot that is Donald trump. My work starts tomorrow in exposing the Republican Party for what it is. I will get involved add a grassroots level. I will spend exactly 0 time supporting this agenda.
I refuse to except the mantra parade for me and fuck you. That is the Republican mantra.

I am up at 4AM...I'm completely dejected. I cannot find one redeeming quality about this man. I hate knowing that I live in a country where this man is considered a leader of any kind.
The uneducated white vote came out in droves today.

Donald Trump lost that lawsuit, BTW. Judge already issued ruling.
How?! I mean...how did they resolve this so quickly?

Russia took over parts of Georgia in 2008 amidst the oncoming election between Obama and McCain. Obama took a "ahh shucks, Russia isn't a threat" theme which he continued into 2012. McCain ran the opposite making his famous "when I look into Putin's eyes I see 'KGB'" argument during the debates and advocating for an American response. Obama did nothing. Romney echoed the sentiment in 2012 to which Obama mocked him about talking about Calvary in the 19th century. Russia then takes Crimea. Not to mention Obama's failed Middle East policy that allowed not only ISIS to form, but to bring Russian military into the Middle East as a military force again.
China is creating fake islands and is now taking over our relationship with the Philippines, which is our primary asset in South East Asia. If we lose that site, our entire pacific fleet and force projection is dramatically handicapped. Oh, and that crazy North Korea country having nukes and missles capable of hitting the west coast.
12 years ago there wasn't a country in the world who questioned our supremacy. Now we have every third rate leader acting up because they no longer fear quick and swift retaliation. That's what's always killed me about some of you. You still don't realize this is a high stakes game and the US has to smack the gnats occasionally to remind everyone we can.
So yeah. I think Obama's leadership has greatly hindered our strength globally. And that is to say nothing of our reduced ownership of our own businesses and economic power/influence abroad.
Are you saying we needed to start a war with Russia? Europe needs to deal with that shit. But I do give Romney and McCain credit, Russia is a threat, but Trump doesn't think so, right SG?
Sorry, Isis didn't start because of Obama. I know W. in't responsible for anything, and just ignoring it goes back to W.'s war, but this is a an outright lie. W signed and set the date for that withdrawal. And the seeds of Isis started in 2002.I also don't see what your solution is for China and North Korea. Smack them like gnats?
When did ISIS form? When did they become a problem? Who called the them JV team and refused to do anything? Who was president in 2011 when the SOFA in Iraq ended - almost 3 years after Bush left office? Your understanding of the situation is only an inch deep. Obama made the decision to pull out of Iraq at the end of 2011 and not extend or renegotiate the SOFA. ISIS sprang up immediately in that wake. It's been 8 fucking years. It's time to stop blaming Bush.
IMHO....ISIS formed way before 2011...
It formed when bombs were destroying schools, churches, villages and towns.
It happened when the US gave a bunch of people who disagree with each other a common enemy - America/western world.
They may have officially incorporated in 2011 under Obama. But the root cause is worth noting.
