Folks, buy the mp3 version from Amazon.com. $8.99 with no sales tax and NO DRM unlike iTunes. Plus, it automatically adds the songs to iTunes for you. They are high quality too. The first track is VBR at 274 kbps. "Back in the Saddle" featuring Axl is VBR at 294 kbps.

Axl, release CD man, just release it. You've still got "it" and these songs are proof of it.

I am currently looking at Amazon's mp3 store. 89 cents per song with no tax. Cool, it even tells you which songs Axl is on. smile Axl is on the sample for "Back In The Saddle" so there's a free preview if anyone wants to hear it! You can hear him on "Love is a Bitchslap" sample too. I think I'm gonna download these 3 tracks. Actually, I might buy the whole album just to show support for Bach. He has been one of our only sources over the last year of ANYTHING about Chinese D and Axl. $8.99 for no DRM mp3's at 200+kbps quality. It's a good deal, especially with no tax while iTunes charges tax.

Look at the numbers. Faulk has a higher yards per carry average than Craig, more career TD's, more pro bowls, more rushing yardage, more receiving yardage, etc. Looking at the numbers, it looks like Faulk had a better career than Thurman Thomas as well. Here's my list from weakest (most deserving of getting voted off) to strongest (most deserving of getting to stay):

1. Bo Jackson
2. Roger Craig
3. Thurman Thomas
4. Marshall Faulk
5. Eric Dickerson
6. Emmitt Smith
7. Walter Payton
8. Jim Brown
9. Barry Sanders

Craig was a great RB. Only reason his actual numbers dont stack up to some of the others in this elimination is because of that elite passing game they had. As far as Thurman Thomas goes, I consider him possibly the greatest RB in history, although I of course consider Payton up there as well. Without Thurman Thomas, the Bills go nowhere. He was the key to their running and passing game. Like him or hate him, the league will never see a back like Thurman again.

Meh. Overrated is the best word I can come up with to describe him (Thomas). He held back Sanders from getting PT at Okie Lite, and when Sanders finally got his shot, he had the best season any running back has ever had in college OR pro.

I read a review of this is a magazine just yesterday and it definatley sounded like something I want to see.  As i don't go to the cinema, I'll rent it when it's out.

Any particular reason you don't go to the cinema? For most stuff, it doesn't really matter. But I could not imagine first watching something like Batman Begins, Pirates of the Caribbean, 300, etc. on a TV. Some things are just meant to be seen on a huge screen. Into The Wild is a drama, although the book itself describes nature quite a bit so there's a possibility that there are some incredible visuals in the film.

I went with Davis. He didn't play long enough in my opinion, nor at a high enough level for a long enough time. He had a few great years though.

As for Faulk, I followed him when he was on the Colts and even back then he was a badass. I'd compare him more to Reggie Bush or Barry Sanders than Thurman Thomas, James. Faulk had some insane moves in his prime, plus he was a good receiver like Bush. Most of the people on this list, aside from Faulk and Sanders, are pretty straightforward runners. I personally think Sanders is the best ever with Jim Brown a very close second.

It took until today before I was even able to find out about this new site because he is currently engaging in censorship on the same level as HTGTH, and for some reason he's doing so against DTJ and James, two people that were way more important to that forum than Brody ever was.

I'll be voting for that soon as well. Possibly the most overrated film in history.

Nah, that would be Spider-Man 1 and 2. By overrated, I refer to the general consensus from critics. SM1 has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 90% and SM2 has a score of 93%. They are good movies, but their IMDB ratings are more indicative of their quality (7.4 and 7.8) than the critical consensus at the time they came out. A RT score of 90% or better should be reserved for true classics, not something that feels great the FIRST time you watch it but has zero repeat value.

Subway is the best of course, but it sucks that they're kind of expensive too.

#4300 Re: Guns N' Roses » How much is Axl worth? » 919 weeks ago

I'll take a guess that at his peak, Axl probably had around $100 million. But now it's probably more like $20-30 million.
