It's self explantory.
Not really. Am I supposed to think she's hot and therefore a great asset to the movie? Guess I missed the boat on that one. Now give me Kate Hudson in this movie and maybe we can start talking...:haha:

Quantum of Solace has been a rumored title for it seems almost every Bond flick since GoldenEye. I call bullshit. Hard bullshit.
Hope you didn't lay down any money on your "call."

It sucks. Hopefully the movie kicks ass though.

Private Eye,
The film is due to be released on July 18th, so it's almost 6 months away rather than 5. Anyway, I agree with a lot of what you said although I think, as bad as this might sound, Heath's death will make the film more legendary than it would have been. It might have just been remembered as another summer blockbuster, but now it's going to forever be remembered as Heath Ledger's last full project. His performance will be immortalized like James Dean's in Rebel Without a Cause or Brandon Lee's in The Crow. People will not be able to watch TDK, even 50 years from now, without realizing that Heath Ledger died at only 28 years old before the film was even released.

^ Oh that's fucking awesome...looks like i'm off to imax!
I think you'll love it. There's a couple of moments in there that are awesome, classic Joker. At one point one of his goons is asking him something and he sort of isn't paying attention to him. So he shoots the guy WITHOUT LOOKING as he walks off. It's hilarious!
As for whether his death will help the film, I'm not so sure. On one hand, I am sure that non-Batman, Heath Ledger fans will go see it simply because it's his last role and to pay tribute to him for it. But on the other hand, Batman fanatics like myself will likely NOT be seeing this film 10 times or however many we would have if he was still alive. It's one thing to be a super-dork and love a movie enough to see it a lot of times, but I have a feeling it will be very bittersweet watching this movie and it will be tough to go see it a lot of times in the theater. I saw Batman Begins 6 times and I'm not sure if TDK will have that much repeat business from me simply because it's not going to be as exciting of an experience knowing that he's gone.

tejastech08 wrote:The body count in the prologue is pretty high and it's only 5 minutes long. And the disturbing part is he uses his own hired goons to take EACH OTHER out by promising each of them a larger piece of the pie. I have no doubt that although the blood and language won't be offensive, the Joker's actual deeds will be just as evil as Bardem's in No Country.
The prologue? Is this a short linking them or something?
The prologue is the first 5 minutes of The Dark Knight. It is shown in front of the IMAX version of I Am Legend. It was shot with IMAX cameras, so it is the very first Hollywood movie to have any part of it take up an entire IMAX screen (versus being re-sized for IMAX like I Am Legend or Spider-Man 3 or Batman Begins, etc.). There were around 4 or 5 scenes that were shot with the IMAX cameras, and the first scene was one of them. It's a bank robbery.
