I am not sure I care for the new tunes much. They sound like typical Buckcherry, but none of them really stand out.

CD singles are pretty much dead in the US, but I know they are still released and sold overseas. I know my fave bands from the UK continue to release them in Europe.

I think a lot of people have heard Chinese Democracy. That wouldn't be a big shock. We know
there's a few people out there with CD in their possession. We get a leak every now and then.
How many of those people are basically claiming to have inside info on VR and GNR? Go and read that thread. His posts reek of BS. He feels the need to slip in the fact that he heard CD but then he says he can't comment on it. He couldn't even provide an answer when asked if it was worth the wait. He is an attention whore, nothing more. GNR fans have seen enough phoney insiders that we should be able to smell the BS from a mile away.

I like this song, but the biggest gun? Better and CITR are by far the best 2 songs, IMO.

It would be interesting if true, but I don't believe it. The guy who posted on sludge also claims he has heard CD. Yeah right.

I'm in the same boat. Its Oh My God all over again. Where we disagree is that I think he can still pull out of this. There was probably a contract signed with two songs as a possibility, one being new.
Amazing that in 2008 he is still afraid to let the album stand on its own and be judged. He's still doing what he was doing in 1999....giving it to us in baby doses praying the whole world loves the taste.

I agree this is just Oh My God part 2. I see no reason to believe that SR is going to lead to anything more.

That Skwerl guy isn't very bright. He says he was worried about facing federal charges but he would have aided in his own prosecution. He should have refused to talk and cooperate. Call them on their bluff and see if they would have continued to pursue him or if they were just trying to ruffle his feathers a bit and send a message.
