I always thought the solo in TIL was weak and I preferred the version without guitar, but now I feel like the song is complete.

I'm almost happy that I live in Sweden and don't have any money. It makes it much easier to accept that I won't see the first show, wherever it is. Anyways, I do feel sorry for SG and others who've spent all that money believing it was the first show, but didn't we all hear from the beginning that they would probably play a warmup gig?

the real problem is, these guys don't seem to like talking about their time in GNR, for some reason. I'd not really bother them at all. maybe only DJ seems to be a bit open about this, but he was in the band waaaaaaay long after OMG was played. not sure what to think about the 2013 leak, it might be just an old demo with newer guitar track by Bumble (?) which is so prominent that this sounds much like some in-ear monitor track, than a normal "listenable" version.
Is that the leak with clips of other songs also or did I miss that the whole song leaked?

In that case I agree. One of slash's best solos but the rhythm guitar by izzy is amazing

And that doesn't even include the uncredited input...for instance, to me the rhythm of oiam makes the song...and that is izzy 100% (at least I've always envisioned that it was) if I could find that slightly overdrive (tele? ES335? Filtertron? P90?) guitar tone in my amp I'd never dial it out again...Cuz it's fucking brilliant
In general I think Izzy had this magical "sleazy" sound and very loose style of playing that quietly helped defined the quintessential guns sound
Slash slung an LP and cranked a marshall and went with it ... izzy, I think experimented a bit more
I'm pretty sure that guitar in oiam is slash. I remember Axl saying Slash's guitar was the reason he sang the way he did on that song

If you wanna play the solos also i would say patience, so fine, yesterdays. Believe it or not but estranged isn't that difficult either when it comes to speed. The first four songs on lies also since you want to play power chords
