Well here are a few more again I can go all day with this but would rather not.
After all it's all speculation that Baz is joining VR or is it?
cover:
1st&2nd page:
these 2 pages are about bach's background. how he became of the most incredible vocal gods and how he rocked with skid row. there is a paragraph about his acting career. and a paragraph about how skid row became one of the best american bands and how they failed badly without baz. oh and it says "baz has filled the concert venue with 7-8 thousand people twice in 5 month which is a record for the venue. (venue has 5000 people capacity)
3rd page:
a paragraph about how he could rule the world with velvet revolver and how velvet revolver sucks. last paragraph is about the process of angel down.
album review:
10 out of 10. nothing more to say.

As for Weiland's recommendation that the band hire former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, Slash is unamused. 'I thought [Weiland] could be a little bit more imaginative. I'm not sure if that was meant to be a pot shot or what. Whatever, it's not worth any real drama.'

This can be looked at in two ways. 1 Slash is saying no it's not true
And 2 Slash is saying Scott dropped the "BOMB" knowing it's true.....

As for response to my other posts OK later I will post more.. Just like to point out that Angel Down is now up to 30,000 sold in the US & growing & they still have not started the heavy promotion yet....

2. Most magazines & websites DIDN'T rank Bach's records anywhere near #1 of the year.
I can post tons of these to prove it if you like

AXL ROSE's 'Chinese Democracy' Coming Soon? - Apr. 3, 2008
Marc Malkin of E! Online reports that Axl Rose has recently been letting people, music industry honchos, tastemakers and so forth, listen to six new tracks from GUNS N' ROSES long-awaited new album "Chinese Democracy", according to a music executive who has heard the songs.
The exec raved about the music. "It's really good," he said. "Axl's voice sounds exactly the same, but the songs sound contemporary. You expect it to be a trainwreck, but it's not."
"Chinese Democracy" has reportedly been in the works since 1995, with Rose the only original member still in the band. According to a report published two years ago by the New York Times, Rose had allegedly burned through $13 million in the studio by that point.
Although a revamped GUNS lineup toured successfully in 2006 and Rose tentatively promised that the record would be out last March, it never materialized and little has been heard about it since.

I can't see how anyone would suggest Baz is the man for the job considering they need a songwriter. Songwriting is not the man's strong point.
For the record, I wasn't comparing Baz to Cherone... I was merely comparing the situation to Van Halen and what the band could turn into with him as the singer. The songs would be weaker and irrelevant in today's music scene. Take Baz's solo album for instance. It had no impact at all in the music industry last year. He's publicly viewed as a washed up 80s singer. At least Scott was relevant to a more modern audience. I brought Chris Robinson into the mix because they need someone with a more rock sound than Weiland, but less hair metal than Baz. Someone else I'd like them to consider is Eric Dover. Chris Cornell would be an interesting addition too. Josh Todd (until that crappy song came out this year) would be relevant.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Baz's work in Skid Row and respect him as a singer. But to me he's way too irrelevant in today's music scene. The guys in VR at least survived the 80s and aren't writing the same songs they did way back then. Baz would just hold them back and turn them into a novelty act.
Um he wrote this great song

You don't understand,as well all but 4 songs on his Angel Down CD
I totally disagree with he is irrelevant, most magazines & Internet sites

Something else that just clicked in my head,How many times has Slash said we are working on a new CD (VR) & Baz saying we will here his next CD sooner then we think Damn it could just be a coincidence?

Acekicken wrote:Well here is a thought Baz was on the radio a few weeks back.
He was asked when his next CD is coming out & he said sooner then anyone thinks He also said he got a phone call that could change his life...... This was all around the time VR where getting ready to tour. I think Baz would give NEW life to VR......It could. But then he'll have ALOT to live up to. The Cherone comment reminded me that unless they come out and sell a TON of records with Bach then everyone will act like he's the reason why not (which I agree would be bullshit).
I agree that very well could happen... But I think with Baz in the band & the right publicityit could work. I know they recorded 5 songs together back before Scott joined the band & Baz said someday we will here them, now is a pretty good time.....
