Just listened to My Apocalypse several times over the weekand and the more I hear it the more I like it.

There's some killer guitar riffing going on in that song, it's like a modern version of Damage Inc 9

I see some similarities between these two.

Yeah, it also sounds similar to one of the verse riffs in Some Kind Of Monster.

To me they went from a really good band to a fantastic band with Corabi.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't really think it sounds like Slayer, but My Apocalypse is definitely Metallica trying to play thrash metal again, and I think it sounds pretty fuckin good. Easily the best Death Magnetic song I've heard so far.

I hope she is broke, she deserves it for polluting the radio with that shitty "umbrella-ella-ella-ella" crap.

I think the only reason her music gets played so much is because she's next to naked in her filmclips.

Damn, each daily clip just sounds better and better.
Would be nice to hear some vocals in these clips though.

Just went and searched Mission Metallica on youtube and found some even more kickass sounding stuff. Listen to the music in this clip:

Looks like a return to the classic Metallica style that people have been moaning for, for years and years, may actually be what we get.

I still don't like Cyanide all that much, just seems too chopped together.
There are good parts here and there, but there's no flow to the song. And the chorus is pretty crap "suicide, I've already died, your just the funeral I've been waiting for" - WTF???

This sounds pretty promising though. I like when James and Kirk do the dual lead melody stuff.

I hope Corabi is at least being considered.
I still think VR could work pretty well with him in there.

#3939 Re: The Sunset Strip » AC/DC "Black Ice" Album and Tour Discussion » 898 weeks ago

Yeah, AC/DC have been around long enough that while they were considered uncool at one stage, they seem to have gotten past that and are now regarded as rock legends.

Is this another hits set? They already have two out - Capitol Punishment and Greatest Hits.
