Yeah here in the US their album was only released at Wal Mart, Sam's Club and the band's website. It still sold over 700,000 the first week. It's good to know people still listen to real music.

Jim and BBA.

End the side discussion. Stick to the topic at hand without bashing a band member or stupid bullshit that you know will start problems in the thread. PM each other if you guys want to continue this discussion. You both have points on posting habits in certain threads. You both are guilty in that some way or another so just start posting with a cooler head. Post your opinion about the topic and if there is no real need to bring up the old band or something negative against Slash then don't do it. If you know going into the thread you have no interest in then don't post in it if you don't have something to add and just want to bash. The staff will have to come into play if this shit doesn't end. This could be easily ended before that. You both are good posters and believe strongly in your opinions and you won't change them so keep that in mind when you post, if you want to debate on the topic thats fine but do it the right way and not negative useless bullshit.

With their first studio title in nearly 30 years, the Eagles land atop The Billboard 200 with "Long Road Out of Eden," which sold 711,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Eagles Recording Co. album, available exclusively in the U.S. through Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and the band's Web site, scores the year's second-best first-week total, behind Kanye West's "Graduation" (960,000).

As reported last night, this marks the first time Billboard has allowed exclusive album titles that are only available through one retailer to appear on its charts.

Previously, titles that were not generally available at retail were not eligible to appear on The Billboard 200, but were entitled to chart on Billboard's Top Comprehensive Albums, which includes catalog titles and proprietary albums from retailers willing to report those sales.

Good for them. 711,000 is great in today's world. It's a good album and any fan should pick it up.

ROB ZOMBIE Says WHITE ZOMBIE Box Set Might Surface Next Year - Nov. 7, 2007
Rob Zombie recently spoke to Gary Graff of Billboard.com about the long-delayed WHITE ZOMBIE box set. "I always keep putting it on the back burner to do other projects," he said. "I'm not real good at going back and wanting to re-do old stuff. I always want to do new stuff, so that's why that project keeps dragging on forever."

He does have a plan for it, however '” "Basically every single thing ever so that I could put out the box set and say, 'That's everything. Don't ask me about anything else. That's everything that band ever recorded,' 'cause there isn't a lot of extra stuff. But there's tons of stuff that was never on CD, that was on these limited vinyl releases."

As to whether the WHITE ZOMBIE box will finally see a 2008 release, Zombie '” who's currently touring with OZZY OSBOURNE '” offered a definite "maybe. If I wait much longer, no one will know what a boxed set is."

Why? There is no reason not too.The book is a great read. It's his side of the story. He treats Axl fairly in this book and states more than once that its his side of the story and Axl has his side to it. Do you really find it hard to believe that Axl didn't want to go up on stage?
