if axl likes the band so much more than the old guys why does he still need his own jet/transpo? & it's not like these guys are living with each other & seeing each other as much as the AFD-lineup??

i know how tommy feels. when alex chilton dies there's nothing else to be done except drink to the memory.. day two  of the bender starts right now in fact.

I hear ya...but look at it from Tommy's perspective, 2000 or 40,000 like tonight....Ritz-Carlton or Courtyard? Models or drunk, fat 80's-90's chicks? Paul always said Tommy wanted to be a rock star.

uh, paul wanted to be a rock star too. i think he said it was more just deserts for tommy to land the GnR gig 'cause he deserved it after all the fuck up's of the 'mats failing to breakout huge back in the day rather than anything nasty, paul & tommy seem to still be on good terms & i tend to take what westerberg says with a pinch of salt & some continual running in-joke..

if slash were to do an instrumental album i'd be first in line.
as it is axlin08 has something of a point but i'll still be near the front of the line for this solely because slash again sounds like he has a point to prove & something 2 say..

he played guitar on can't hardly wait.

#3686 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R Twitter Updates » 804 weeks ago

ugh god, alex chilton is 1 of my music gods up there with guns &  dylan & this is the first i'm reading about. holy shit. that guy's been such a massive part of my life & again in the past 2 months he's been who i've spent the majority of my time with.. fuck.

#3687 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R Twitter Updates » 804 weeks ago

IF they did a smaller UK venue i'd be salivating 2 go. only time's i've seen GnR has been an open air gig so i'm antsy even for an arena show in Europe (preferably Amsterdam..)

This site is about as unofficial and against the grain as it gets. Don't expect any perks anytime in the near future. They've acknowledged us and of course Ron drops in once in a blue moon, but don't expect more than that.

lol, that's what i thought.. doesn't hurt 2 ask thou..

fucking hell. what has the world come to when our rock stars have nothing better to do on a day off than tweet?? time surely better spent buried in some grade A bolivian coke and/or a brazilian hooker..
