VELVET REVOLVER Members Denied Japanese Visas; Tour Cancelled - Nov. 14, 2007
VELVET REVOLVER has been forced to cancel its four scheduled concerts in Japan as immigration officials there have denied the band's request for visas. According to concert promoter Creativeman Productions Co., Ltd., "the members of VELVET REVOLVER were looking forward to their tour of Japan '” a series of four concerts to promote their current album 'Libertad' between November 26 and November 30, encompassing the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama. For the band, the upcoming trek was an opportunity to reconnect with their fans in Japan, where the band tour has toured before '” without incident '” back in 2005. But now it's a different story as VELVET REVOLVER's request for visas has just been denied. The increasingly tough Japanese immigration officials are taking exception with the backgrounds of various band members, which have included arrests."
The affected dates are as follows:
Nov. 26 - Zepp - Osaka, Japan
Nov. 27 - Zepp - Nagoya, Japan
Nov. 29 - Blitz - Yokohama, Japan
Nov. 30 - Nihon - Budokan - Tokyo, Japan

I got to go with The Crowes too on this one. Never could get into Jane's Addiction.

Here's the real truth on Bach.
From the likes of this photo, I would say that Bach deep down wants to be a chick so that would explain his lust for Axl.
I doubt that. He is a huge music fan and a total fan boy of rock n' roll. Not to mention his wife is hot as fuck.

Yeah. I wonder if any type of BBF vocals will appear on Chinese Democracy. I wouldn't mind it at all.
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree.
I'm sure BBF is a nice guy and all, but I don't think he has any business whatsoever performing vocals on any Guns N Roses album. In fact, I still don't see how his guitar style fits in whatsoever to the GN'R sound. I'm not saying that he can't play guitar, it's just unecessary for this band, in my opinion.

I get what you are saying. I wasn't thinking lead vocals. Just some back up or harmony. Nothing huge at all.

Pride&Glory wrote:RAW was pretty much boring. The hype between Orton and HBK could have been a hell of a lot better. Next week the numbers promos comes to an end and hopefully and most likely it's Jericho.
With Jericho coming back, the number of promos will most likely go up..
They will stop. The last one said "next monday". Once he is back on camera there is no need for them to run those promos again. They are just like a promo for a returning superstar only these aren't giving away who is returning.
