Have you heard of Henry Clay? He was the Great Compromiser. A good compromise is when both parties are dissatisfied..

Yes. I will call his ass out and not make excuses like the OBAMA supporters have for OBAMA by blaming Republicans and Bush for EVERY FUCKING THING. ha

No you won't. That is exactly what you will do.
But you won't have to. He'll be a great president. He'll make America great again.

I'll bet.
C'mon, let us know the check list. & the results! Like a sliding scale? Best is Caligula, worst is.. too many bleeding heart liberals to list I suppose..

Pollux, how will we celebrate the big Trump victory? Can't come here because everyone will be sad.

Polluxlm has the right idea. You need to come on and gloat.

(I just know that IF Trump wins you'll still blame the fuckin monkey that preceded him for all the horrible shit that will unfold under his reign.)

But yea it's a sad reflection of you guys that you are behaving with such glee & readily ignoring or forgive his ill manner & how feral he has made the conversations of this campaign.
I love it tho.

I revel in that kind of ignominy. So give me more, whether you win or lose. For me it's win-win. If he wins the consequences will be profound & the message it sends out quite repugnant about those Americans (& Norwegians??) who support him, if he loses the recriminations will carry on for a long time to come. The base conduct of people is so unsavoury yet I can't look away.. It's like a soap opera.

That ways great.
& fucking late.

I did actually fall asleep. I woke up and they were still playing. I guess this happens quite a lot when watching baseball.
As great as it was I still don't think I've warmed to it as a sport. E.g. I don't think I could watch 200 matches season. Good drama tho, good final. Rollercoaster stuff, couldn't have asked for more really.

Imagine saying that about Obama.

When the other choice is the very definition of a corrupt, nothing gets better politician, I'd say the position is much better filled by someone who "doesn't know what they're doing". At least their damage will lack the thrust. Not that Trump is any of those things. Being a real CEO he's much better prepared for leadership than most politicians. Hillary hasn't shown she can lead anyone.

Huh!?

This logic just has me baffled

I think what you're looking for is 17 which sums up trying to mine an iota of common sense out of these Trump suckers. I've given up. They're a lost cause by this stage. Credit to Randall tho.

I've tried a few times over the years to watch & educate myself on this sport, but it's never took. People tell me it helps to experience it live, where you get to sit around for 4/5hours drinking and eating and hanging out while something mildly distracting happens in the background.. which I can see the appeal of.  But as for a tv sport it's something that's never managed to capture my imagination.

Tonight is threatening to change that. It's a pretty fun story that's unfolding. So I'm going to try me stay up & watch it.

I've a feeling as a neutral I'm meant to be cheering on Chicago..??

Correct. I got sick of GnR, thought it became a joke, so switched it to a whatever forum. Site remains, but I haven't touched it in a long time.

Funny how quickly things can change. In the space of the last 9/10 months GnR are a legitimate proposition while your politicians & general population are behaving like overgrown children.

Shoulda stuck to your Guns..

Y'know this is totally off topic but this is as worthless a space as any to vent:
I dunno about the rest of you but I have eaten so much shit for being a GnR fan over the past 16 or so years, I remember once even getting random abuse on the street for wearing a GnR t-shirt like some guys do for wearing the wrong football jersey in the wrong part of the country.
& now all these trendy fucks think GnR are the dogs balls all of a sudden. Now they're all buying into the fucking bullshit. Fuck those fair weather fuckers. Part of me hates the idea of having to stand in a field with 80,000 of them just to see the band they all mocked for the past decade and a half. Ugh. They piss me off so fucking much! So much so that I'm probably going to have to fork out extra & buy one of those VIP packages just so I can be separated from them when the gig(s) roll around.. fucking assholes..
Fuck the world & everyone who lives in it!
