jeez Djs TiL solo isnt a patch on Fincks. some of u r crazy.. axls sounded great all year long, tip top.
they def should bust out GitR it's a cracking tune.. obv the guys chantin 4 it had planned 2 do thqt, should be chanting 4 Estranged instead tho. r TWAT.

nah defo go man. everyone has misgivings about the new band but they still put on a great, entertaining gig that more than likely will be well worth all the BS.
they are really good live this time round.

well man in fairness 2 gnr/axl the lack of promotion wasn't entirely their fault. they've had no label support for donkeys plus the whole azoff bizness - of course in the long term that can all be traced back to bad decisions/behaviour from axl/gnr, but at the time they had no help in gettin the record/singles promoted.
i think from the chats @ the time axl said something like monumental promotion will start soon so maybe he did want to try & push the record but was scuppered by his poor bizness relations..
it'll likely be the same next time around, no label support no videos.. unless they are releasing it during the US leg of the tour..... that's if there even is an album 2 release of course..

one concern i have about the new material is: axl has said something like if people thought CD was complex then the other stuff is gonna be even more shocking (or something along those lines), but if axl can't sing TWAT or Prostitute how's he gonna deal with the unreleased stuff if it's even more complicated??

GnR are far, far, far bigger than both Bon fking Jovi & Ufking2 combined.
obv on current popularity GnR are smallfry in comparison, a nostalgia act even. but their legacy outstrips most every other classic or hard rock band there's ever been.
GnR stand alongside the stones & maybe zep as the holy trinity of rock. U2 r more second tier like the who or such. bon fuckin jovi r somethin else entirely, but i agree they'd be much closer in style for touring partners 2 u2 than gnr/u2 (tho u2 are far superior 2 bfj)

axlin, mikka & bono r completely correct in what they're sayin but that's what makes it funny - that level of self-deprecating/aggrandizing, wilful, purposeful stupidity is funny.

Are you really unable comprehend what I was saying. No shit bands tour on a similar schedule but how often do big bands like U2 and Gn'R tour an entire continent hitting the same cities within mere days of each other for the entire course of their respective tours. Honestly give your head a shake. Think before commenting.

it's summer in australia so it makes sense for intl bands 2 tour australia then, like it makes sense for big american bands 2 hit the euro festival circuit u clown.

never really liked K0rn. don't think GnR have had a good opening band since UYI/SG/FNM. unless Weezer count, but even by that stage Weezer had surpassed even U2's level of suckitude..

read b4 commentin mang, i said SHOULD not would. like i say U2 are more popular but GnR are bigger n better & shouldn't be openin 4 anyone except for the acts that are really bigger than them like the stones r MAYBE zep (but even then GnR r on equal footing or surpass zep tbpfh..)
