Steven just isn't smart.  That's all it comes down to.  I honestly don't think he means any harm by what he says.  In fact, i don't think he knows the true meaning of what he says.  He simply speaks without giving it much thought.  The guy is lucky to be alive.  He should be happy for that and stop regretting that the original GNR is never getting back together.

That's it in a nutshell really.

Pretty much. The guy just needs to move on. If something happens at the rock hall for the better, it will happen. Nothing has started yet. He should of just apologized and left it at that.

I don't mind Greenday so I'm not too fussed by this although it isn't an obvious choice. I have a feeling Greenday are GNR fans so that may have played a part.

Yeah that could be true. Billie said that he listened to a ton of music growing up and when Sweet Children their name at the time was starting out. He liked Queen, Black Sabbath, Crazy Train from Ozzy, and various hard rock, punk, and metal bands. Billie also helped induct The Stooges too; so he has some experience with the rock hall induction process and he even played with the guys too.

Hell..maybe Axl is a fan of them! xD It's a possibility. I would of thought out of people to represent them would be Steven Tyler or Keith Richards..hell..even Baz! xD

Strange choice for inducting Guns. Even though I love Green Day. But..hey as long as I see something good happen on stage with Axl & Izzy in the equation, I'll be happy! Whether it's a performance or just most of them getting along and on speaking terms again.

Glad Ron came through okay. He's been the biggest bright spot in GN'R since 2006, and slowly reaching 'Izzy level' "The Man" status.

Get well soon Ron

I'm with you on that point my friend! 5 9

Get well soon Ron! Wish nothing but the best help and support. You bring so much joy to the fans in this lineup and with your individual projects as well.

You could tell there was tension between the band members around the time Appetite broke and even the months when Dizzy entered the picture and Steven left. That led to a huge division in the way of band structure. I think once Izzy left during the UYI tour, you could see the major cracks starting to show. Axl and Slash communicating song ideas and riffs over the phone was another sign as well. Hey there might be a bigger issue in all of this that we don't know about.
