MACROVISION {the company}, has successfully sued the organizations that make these "macrovision killers" out of business. Furthermore, the few scramblers that are reputable and exist now are MADE BY MACROVISION and pricey.
To own and/or manufacture these devices is illegal in Europe. Period.
Can you get a cheapie $40 buck descrambler? Yes. The result will be similiar to the cheap price you paid.
And...the difference between hooking up a vcr to a descrambler, routing it into a computer, using your video capture card, adjusting and tweaking the pictures through the peak bright and dark periods...is a hell of a lot more difficult than putting a CD or DVD in drive and copying it or uploading it to the internet.
So much more difficult in fact, that these macrovision protected Disney VHS tapes routinely sell for hundreds of dollars. I helped pay for my daughters braces by selling my original copies, when I found out how much they were worth.
Who would have thought that ""Westward Ho, the Wagons!" would pay for braces?

Memo to record companies and film distributers:
Create and distribute a NEW FORMAT, that cannot be placed in a disc drive, USB port, etc. Work with MS and Apple to make computers the only hardware to support something shaped like a disc. DVD players and CD players and computerized crap like MP3 players and "hit clips" only encourage piracy, when people see how easy it is. Outlaw devices and software that would convert such format into computerized files. Also, since no other people are seen when doing it, it becomes a victimless crime.
And before anyone tells me it can't be done, ever try to copy a Disney VHS tape? MACROVISION. Yes, it can be broken, but it's a bitch and way f'in expensive to do so.
If I left my CD collection in my front yard, someone would steal it.
Protect your assets, you dumbasses.
Stop wasting time on crap and resources on crap like this.
Your pal,
Skippy

I agree about CITR...
The "Everytime I see them makes me wish I had a gun", lyric is the type of quality I expect from Waxl.

Actually, none of the three new leaks blew me away. Maybe the time for all this has come and gone already....SOMETIME IN THE LAST 14 YEARS!!!!
Ahem....excuse me...that being said...I think If the World and Song 2 suffer from Brian Wilson in the studio for too long disease. Too much stuff going on and none of it having a solid foundation. To me it just sounds like layers and layers of nothingness.
