He's just another in the long line of interchangeable parts. For years people have said if Robin or Tommy leaves, it's over or they won't support GnR any more.
This album has been created by Axl, Finck Stinson etc. To start touring your comeback album with 50% of the band gone since 2001 is a disaster. To tour the friggin album without your main guitarist is fucked up. What about if Slash quite before AFD came out eh? But was still on the record? It's a financial disaster.
However, Axl's been thru so much crap Im sure he can find someone else to play the parts to Robin who played the parts to Slash. Im sure the new guy will copy Robin's work to the max and people will say "shit this guy is good, he copies Slash's, Bucketheads, Izzy's, and Robin's guitars to brilliance! What a guy!

'old when ther is news he will update us. this is bullshit.
Don't buy into that no. They give us news when they FEEL they should give us news, not when it's appropriate to do so, like now.
And this is out of two reasons (and im sure other minor ones too)
1) We don't know ourselves, ergo, we cant give you news.
2) We will give you news when they serve our best interests.

perhaps Del has a life outside of GNR, and he simply wasn't updated by them on this development.
Then he would say "I don't know" instead of telling Dave that "only Robin knows".

It depends. We feel it's his moral obligation to tell them this, but he might not have done so. It means that GNR camp thinks all is well ok or they don't know. Who contacts who? Maybe they have tried desperately to get in touch or just thinks that since he didn't tell them anything, theres nothing to worry about.
That is, until Robin calls and says he's out.

See? They have no fucking clue. Robin didn't tell anyone. This surprised us just as much as them. They're not giving an announcement because they have no announcement to make. They just have no clue.

Well if the band dynamic is like for example that Jarmo guy says; GNR = Axl and others then I can't support it. I'll but Chinese Democracy and maybe see a concert if I can, but my enthusiasm and support is not there. I can't support such dynamics. I can't support Robin either because having your picture on a website for another band without giving an explanation is disrespectful.

I fail to see your point. Do you think I regard them higher? Quite the opposite actually.

You know...if I wanted to leave a band but I couldnt because I was under contract...that would just make me leave even more.
Bucket was leaving in late '01, Axl took him to Disneyland and talked him over.
BH's a freak but he's a good guitar player.
