Tuning issues???
No wonder this album takes forever when Robin feels fit to leave for at least a year due to tuning issues??
"Yeah, we have do some tuning"
"Ok, talk in 2009 then, bye".
This is beyond stupid.

Maybe he was just being silly when he said " no comment".
Hardly think so

No one is being hateful. It's point out some facts that certain GNR fans see nothing wrong with. The fact that he is being interviewed by a GNR site and can't answer a question about his on solo on stage is just ludicris. How is talking about your own solo being disrespectful?? That's what the discussion is, no one is asking for a release date or even and ground breaking news but now that it's gotten to this level where a GNR band member can't talk shit about anything even related to what they do on stage is IMO absolutely rediculous. If Mysteron wants to talk about respect how about having some respect for your goddamn fans.
If someone can't see the craziness in not being able to talk about a own solo that was done did years ago, I would go as far as saying that person may have a huge problem and need to re-think the whole relationship he/she got with GNR and their band members.
Nothing justifies a "no comment" on a solo song onstage in 2006. Nothing.
"No comment" on Robin's whereabouts or when CD is coming is ok with me.

No clue, but its strange for him to be in the band a decade and when it looks like the clock is about to finally strike midnight, he throws it away and buys a new clock.
A bit odd isn't it? Doesn't make sense.
Scenario A) He got bored and left
Scenario B) He knows CD won't be out anytime soon (or ever).
I think Mysteron is someone in the Tommy section of the band. He knew all about that tour Tommy did 4 years ago. He is obviously the real deal because Jarmo would have censored him years ago if it wasn't so.
Influence on your website and forum is a tricky thing. I've been there myself. Parts of a specific band pulling me from both sides. In the end I made a decision and went with one of them. In that case it was a pretty easy choice, but whether I liked it or not, my opinions and doings were formed by the band members involved. When the singer or guitarist or whatever comes up to you and tells you "listen, heres what happened and this is what you do" you stop and listen. For me now, it's impossible to give that band member a bad review of his new work. In my case that's also easy because he never puts out bad albums anyway, but just to show how hard it is to please everyone when you're being pulled by very influential people and childhood heroes.

When all those things are due to happen, I believe that Robin will be back.
Just how exactly will that happen? Robin is tied up for a year from now on! He even said "more dates to follow".
Either GNR waits with the release of the album for summer 2009 or they go ahead as normal (and the website states they are going ahead). That means if they get the ball rolling (doubt it) it's gonna be without their co song writer and one of the most important attributes to this band.
When Robin says he's on tour with NIN, then that's final. That's a contract for you. Trent won't let Robin go until his part of the deal is over. Axl might sue and do all kinds of stuff to Trent and NIN to bring Robin back but it won't be pretty and Robin himself will certainly not be happy being pulled out of a NIN tour because Axl sued NIN and potentially won.
So, like you say "when all those things are due to happen, Robin will be back". That's 2009 at the earliest for you. If not, you won't see Robin in GNR any time soon.

Like I thought, they have absolutely no idea what Robin is doing. Quite fascinating once you start to think about it. Either Robin had no idea they were negotiating the release of CD or Robin knows something we dont.
And now we may all laugh at the same time
Copies of copies of copies

You can like the band without being a blind worshiper.
Absolutely 100% correct

Big Pat - There's a lot of buzz right now regarding GN'R and the Dr. Pepper challenge. Do you think you might be drinking a free Dr Pepper soon?
Richard Fortus - An answer to this in the positive or negative would stir up the fanbase and get me sacked.
That one made me laugh
You guys are even more negative than me, but you have a few good points.
I think Axl really wants this to be a band and he wants it to be contribution from all parts involved. However, Axl have such a spotty reputation he has basically become way to leanient to handle a band. They need to be smacked a little around and set in their place. Jesus, how many drummers can advertise their name as "GNR drummer" now? Just who the fuck IS the drummer of GNR? That question was never even answered and it's stupidity beyond what stupidity is thought to be.
I wasn't always this negative. I have supported this idea and band all the way since 2000. Buckethead was an amazing feat to GNR. So was Robin. It was a looming super group with their own album and own image. That image...well..what is that image right now?
But there's a point you reach where you just have to stop and ask "ok, what the hell is going on?". No album, core members quitting and a horrid way of communicating with their fanbase.
Seriously, an interview with GNR's Richard Fortus done by a GNR website and he can't answer the GNR questions??? Just what the bloody fuck is that? He may have done the right thing that Fortus by not answering to the questions, but it is about time to look just a little bit further than to the tip of your nose and ask the question:
"Why is it like that?".
#3009 Re: Guns N' Roses » Richard Fortus Talks To GnrDaily.com » 897 weeks ago
Maybe the reason is simply personal and in this respect, Richard does not cross the line and keeps what may be a secret between him and Robin.
Oh come on. He asked a question about a song they did live which was written by some other person. He asked who came up with the idea right? Instead of saying "I did" or "Robin did" or "we both did" or even the brilliant "I dont remember" he says "no comment". That's just close to scary. Just how the hell could it be personal when they performed it to thousands of people?
#3010 Re: Guns N' Roses » Richard Fortus Talks To GnrDaily.com » 897 weeks ago
I gotta give karma for this because it really is insane isn't it.
Over at HTGTH they say that Richard doesn't answer GNR questions because of bad experiences with it and how his words are taken as news. That may be so. But WHY does the media and fans take HIS words and news? Maybe because there are a problem in how GNR communicates? If they communicated properly, Richards words wouldnt count for more than that...words. So instead of blaming us and the media for it, they might look at their own system first and find out WHY it happens.
Now for the big finale, what does past history and songs written by outsiders (like Beatiful) got ANYTHING to do with news or how his words are interpreted by fans and media?
Horrible.
