#21 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy Special editions now on Best Buy » 868 weeks ago

My guess is it's probably a 4-disc 45 rpm pressing with a copy of the CD and expanded booklet like some other recent releases (Death Magnetic, Nostradamus, etc).

With it being down to two versions now, it could simply be digipack vs. Jewel Case as most albums are being released both ways now so that people can choose their preference of the two.

I know that doesn't explain the two Vinyl versions, but by all the changes that have happened in 24-48 hours, I don't think we can assume anything is accurate until it at least stays the same for 72 hours or we get an announcement from GNR/Axl.

I know this probably isn't a popular choice but I'd love to see Ginger write and perform with Velvet Revolver. He's extremely prolific and very musical. Plus writes some awesome riffs. If anyone has heard the Wildhearts B-Side song 'fired up' you'd swear it was Slash playing the outro.

I'm with you.  He'd be perfect as he is a great prolific songwriter and decent frontman so they could be putting out an album every year with this guy as a singer.  He is also pretty unknown in North America but big abroad which could really add to the international appeal without being too much of a supergroup type project in NA.  The only concern is that he is a bit of a headcase and has his own list of personal demons so he might not be a long term solution.

Honestly, guys check out some of his material with The Wildhearts or Silver Ginger 5,  it is awesome.  His solo work is pretty good as well but a little more laid back.
