Third is bloody great. Saw them last year on the tour and they were magical live. She has a really haunting voice - I love going to sleep to Portishead.
I found a bizarre cover on youtube the other day - Faith no more covering glory box...enjoy!

I tried Nightrain in NYC a couple of years ago, courtesy of another forum member who I caught up with. Was chuffed to try it i have to say - always wondered what it would taste like! Like sherry is pretty much the answer... the flight back the next day to London wasnt much fun

it was bloody amazing - and yes a very small venue. the capacity is listed at 300 but thats over 2 floors and all the action that night was on one floor.
this guy is slowly releasing the footage then - but it was officially filmed too... doubt that'll surface! i can only wish - what a night...

excellent news! would love to see them again. I imagined if it happened that it wouldnt be extensive dates, so hope they get a nice small London warm-up (selfish of me? yes!) or I'll be popping over to Europe nae bother! been listening to album of the year a lot recently..

gawd. knew this show was coming on soon, dont think its on in the UK yet - but that clip... i feel for him. He's practically destroyed himself and needs help. But should it be on a reality tv show?? Who knows. if it opens a door to the right person being able to help him, then thats cool. but it is sad, and he has deteriorated a lot more since I last saw him.

I just heard it on a streaming link - it sounds immense! More guitar and backing vocals have been added that double the main vocal in a harmony - a few more effects at the start that sound really atmospheric. its very punchy and i really like it.
a good choice of single, people will def sit up and notice it!

Sorry neemo - i took a couple, but was upstairs looking down on the stage and they didnt come out so well - shitty lights, + crap camera + my overexcitement at hearing dust n bones = bad combo. But there are some youtube links:
