I start to believe the rumours that Axl handed in an album in 2010 but was rejected by the label. It all makes sense.

I think that was supposedly 2012, if memory serves.

I kinda thing maybe there's nothing happening for him.

A fair point.

It's arguable how much of the remaining CD material has vocals and would probably be about the old band dissolution (Atlas, Jackie Chan). You wonder if Axl wrote new lyrics 2004-2006 since we know most if not all of his vocals were recorded much earlier.

I don't know.
Labels don't reject material form an artist very often.
I can't think of any other artist/band I've ever heard of who had their album handed back to them with a little sticker on the back saying"Try Harder".
Label's are about the brand usually. And the GNR brand would either sink or sell an album.
Does that happen?

Damn. I remember him well. He was a lot of fun. When that fish avatar appeared on a post you knew there was going to be entertaining trouble.

They kept teasing Rihad at Slane too.
Or so I think I was pretty far up the hill and the sound was nuts

That letter was heart breaking.
Chris Cornell's music has been and will continue to be a huge part of my life.
I'm really going to miss future releases shows and interviews.
Thanks for the years of great memories.

I don't consider it a bullshit reason. To make a major announcement about concerts when a bunch of kids/teens just got slaughtered at a concert would be in extremely bad taste. Then factor in the potential of his opening Jungle line about it being "time to die" being used in the promo would create a massive backlash and rightfully so.

I know as a hardcore GNR fan ANY delay can be frustrating. It was warranted in this situation.

I agree. GnR have a huge concert in Ireland this Saturday at what is the national hallowed ground for big rock n roll shows. The security has been beefed up to a huge degree after Manchester. 400 extra Garda (police officers) as well as special units (counter terror units) have been drafted in. It's a huge operation and people are understandably nervous about attending huge concerts so soon after Manchester. After that I think there is a London show quite soon. Britain is on critical alert meaning that a terror attack is expected at any moment. That's very serious. I think they were right to push it back.

Re-watched this on netflix a few nights ago. It sounds like a harp cover mixed with the original. Great scene too. Great film.

Seems pretty normal guy to me.
I've seen one or two stroke victims and if he did have a stroke it must have been minor.
But I doubt he did.

I think (seriously hope) that title is supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek, of course this discussion shouldn't be Europeans only. Although I will say that, in my experience, Europeans are typically more aware of American politics than Americans are of European politics... smile.

Very true. That is because Europe is a mess and the US is a superpower and what happens in the US matteres but what happens in europe matters much less.
To be honest, you guys get held to way higher standards as a results.
The whole of europe was up in arms over Trump wanting to build a wall, but they turned a blind eye when Hungary built a wall to keep Syrian refugees out.
