If the GN'R camp had this kind of power to pay someone off to shut them up, we wouldn't see as many bad reviews of the new material that we have.

link me a bad review and i'll link you a positive one, a positive one from a more reputable source, not some bitter blogger. being a realist is fine, just don't exaggerate your negativity. aside from one or two scathing reviews from those who are clearly biased/bitter the leaks have received warm to luke-warm reviews, .

if the song was sang and written by jonas brothers, i would like it, i'd certainly be like "what the fuck!?!?" but regardless, i'd like it. saying people love this song solely because Axl wrote it, is so ignorant its almost infuriating. this is the first negative review i have seen, and the guy is clearly an idiot. he contradicts himself so badly that he loses all credibility, how can something sound dated and still be a hit on modern radio stations? the guy is clearly an imbecile.

the list looks legitimate tbh, i know the new kids on the block are/just have released their album, they were promoting on tv over here in aus, Wikipedia says that 3 doors down have also released an album this year...OMG CHINESE DEMOCRACY STARTS NOW OHHH I JUST CAME

#288 Re: Guns N' Roses » Death Magnetic inspiring & bringing out competitive edge in GN'R » 876 weeks ago

i don't give a shit what the songs about. the point is the lyrics are terrible, the song could be about child molestation or something equally as delicate, doesn't mean i am required to respect it solely because the song is about a controversial topic. and if it is about domestic violence, than the accompanying video, which takes place in iraq, is undeniably out of place(i am not saying it isn't about domestic violence, the laughable lyrics certainly indicate that). the song possesses some of the worst lyrics i HAVE EVER SEEN. metallica fanboys continue to cry all you want, doesn't change the fact that its an atrocious song.

inspiring lyrics as well aye D-machine,
LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD
LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD
LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD
any respect i held for metallica was lost as soon as i heard that.

who is saying death magnetic is good? the only positive review it has received thus far was so obviously a puff piece, the link to the review was on metallica's website, by a guy who had the 'exclusive' opportunity to hear it before its release, the same guy who gave st anger an A-. every other review has been luke-warm to scathing.

if anyone says "OH YOU MEAN LIKE CHINESE DEMOCRACY LEAKS REVIEWS?!?!??!", i'll track them down and hurt them. i cannot stand the people who write that horse shit. i haven't read one negative professional review, in fact the only times i have seen negative comments about the leaks, seem to be in passing, on some sensationalist media website eg. "Axl rose has been working on the album for 15 years at a cost of 15 million dollars, 9 tracks leaked off the album all receiving harsh reviews", TIME magazine gave the leaks an overall B+, with individual song scores ranging from A+ to C+, rolling stone seemed almost ecstatic about the leaks, while other reviews are generally lukewarm to great, i cannot for the life of me cite one scathing review of the chinese democracy leaks.

if theres anyone reading this who is anti-review/critic, eg. "ILL BE THE JUDGE OF THE METALLICA ALBUM MYSELF" or "I'D RATHER LISTEN TO THE FAN'S OPINIONS ON IT", check out 'the day that never comes' on youtube, you'll wish the day never ever ever came! OH MY GOD HOW PUNNY OF ME! by the same token the fan's perspective of 'death magnetic' is largely negative, check blabbermouth, or sputnikmusic.
