More Americans deaths are caused by guns in 6 months than all terrorists attacks in the last 25 years, the Iraq war and Afghanistan war combined. Hmmmmm... That right to bear arms sure seems to be doing wonders.

Bono wrote:yup semi automatic and automatic assault riffles were invented for protection. A weapon that sprays 50 bullets or more per minute were invented for protection. SURE. That post right there is a clear case of what's wrong with America's psyche when it comes to this.
The majority of gun related deaths do not come from these weapons. If people want to ban them or impose sctrict gun laws in purchasing them, fine. I'm okay with that. And again, it will do nothing to stop the murder rates. "
Ummm... yeah it would. If these weapons were outlawed there's less chance of what happened yesterday happening. 20 children dead thanks to the use of a semi automatic weapon. Sure maybe he'd have got one anyways but ya know what why not make it a little harder for guys like him to do so. Don't recall the last time I heard of a guy walking into a school and stabbing 26 people to death but what do I know. I'm not American.

Unfortunately you don't understand anything you're talking about, respectfully.
Classic you. Glad nothing's changed.
I'm talking about addressing the problems of people who comitt these crimes before they happen and get a better understanding and address it.
No fucking shit. BUT what'ya think might be a nice step to take in the meantime? Tackling mental illness in America seems pretty daunting so how about between now and solving that you guys look into something that might help even in the slightest. say like more strict gun control. Couldn't hurt. Seems to work fairly well for numerous other countries.
I don't know, somehow you got that I was saying all American's are mentaly ill and stupid. How addressing these people is a bad idea or wrong... or whatever it is you're saying, I don't know. No, strict gun laws will do nothing to curb violent crimes, especially considering there are more guns than people in this country and the majority of these crimes from obtaining guns through illegal means.
Countries with stricter gun laws have far less gun related crimes. hmmm.... so you saying the gun related crimes in the States would stay the same is what? An admition of what? That you guys are just that much more violent and that much more insane than the rest of us? Dude how could more strict gun laws NOT possibly help curb the numbers? the idea that it wouldn't help at all is asinine,
We did ban alcohol once. It was called prohibition. Let me give you the cliff notes: It didn't go well.
I wonder if drunk driving related deaths went down? Oh wait cars had barely been invented when that took place. Dude get fucking real. If Alcohol was banned today drunk driving related death would go down. It would be inevitable because people would need to drink in the privacy of their own home. Prohibition era?

DCK wrote:Fact is no matter how you spin it, you and your loved ones are much more likely to be gunned down than am I.
I'm not spinning anything. What have I said that was untrue? Create all the strict gun laws you want, ban them... Your stats on violent crime would stay the same. Only the accidential shootings would go down.
you give absolutely no credit to Americans and by saying this you are in fact suggest you guy are a more stupid, more violent and more mentally ill country by nature. hmmm...
As for Booze yeah I'm pretty sure if you made alcohol illegal outright it would lower the number of deaths by drunk driving. Hell if all you did was make it illegal for restaurants and bars to sell booze the number of drunk driving deaths would go down. So to suggest more strict gun laws would have zero impact just spits in the face of common sense.
The world gets it. Americans do not.
One was invented for fun ( I really have no idea what the purpose for inventing alcohol was, tbh, except to act stupid), the other for protection. The difference is, you like one over the other.
yup semi automatic and automatic assault riffles were invented for protection. A weapon that sprays 50 bullets or more per minute were invented for protection. SURE. That post right there is a clear case of what's wrong with America's psyche when it comes to this.

Stop talking about booze as though it's a relevant comparison. Booze was not invented with the purpose of killing a human being in mind. Neither were cars.
#266 Re: The Garden » Elementary School Shooting in US » 710 weeks ago
When your constitution was written the most deadly weapon was a fucking musket. Nobody should have the right to bear a semi automatic or automatic killing tool. The weapon this guy used was designed for the sole purpose of killing human beings. Honestly who has the "RIGHT" to bear such a weapon? For what purpose? Killing sprees?

Anybody that thinks gun control solves this needs to have their head examined.
Anybody who doesn't think gun control is one common sense step in the right direction to preventing these things or at the very least lowering the number of casualties or incidents needs a punch in the dick.

There's also a thing called "a behavior pattern". You've demonstrated yours over and over again. As has been said repeatedly; if you can follow the forum rules you're more than welcome here. If you can't then of course, you're not. This doesn't have to do with anyone outside of you. If you can follow the rules, then be all means do so.
WHERE in the last few months at the least have I even remotely been on here disrespecting anyone or not following the rules. FACT is you think my opinion on TWAT was spam because you coudlnt' handle the difference in opinion. figure it out Russ. Why the fuck would I want to continue posting on thsi site if everthing i post is is judged before hand based on some bullshit "behavior pattern"
fact is I've been posting way less over the last 6 months so this behavior pattern you're speaking of is a load of shit. Like someone else mentioend it's all good for others to break the rules but if Bono does it in response he's fucking outta here.
Anyways yeah my desire to post here is pretty much done. Do me a favour and delete my account please.
#270 Re: Management » Insults Will NOT Be Tolerated (Please Read) » 713 weeks ago
Again, just to be clear, because I don't think I'm getting my point across, my posts were in no way directed at Bono's two posts about TWAT. It was aimed at a history of disrespecting members here by one single poster. Whatever problem you have with jarmo has NOTHING to do with how you treat your fellow members in an community as tight as ours. There's no excuse for that.
I do think Bono can be a good guy. We can get along. It has nothing to do with TWAT, or a anything like that. Again, it's respecting the members here. If Bono wasn't so abrasive I would have no problem with Bono, whatsoever. or any opinion he has. I got along with 55555's and Dizzy back in the day at HTGTH who HATED the new line up and took every opportunity to take shots at the band. And they never, ever disrespected anyone. Ever.
This is funny cause you are as disrespectful or more so than anyone here. Difference is you do it in a manipulative, "subtle" condescending way. NOTHING is worse than a guy who claims to disagree with what other's do yet he does it all the time and acts like he doesn't.
It's so funny too considering my opinion on TWAT was met with shit like this
ISE is PERFECT!!! If you don't think so you're fucked in the head!!!! !!! It's a fact!!! Because I say so!!! Arrrrgghhhh! **HULK SMASH!**
(sarcasm)
gee I wonder who that was directed at. In relation to the sensitive reactions to my opinion on TWAT it's clear even though you were replying to someone else you were directing this at me. Numerous members went on a tagent about me not respecting their opinion when nothing of the sort had taken place. It's like people wanted a reaction. If anything I post is gonna be met with bullshit just because of past arguments than fuck it. I won't post anymore. Nothing worse than a bunch of people who carry their hurt feelings from past arguments into current discussions.
Russ is a perfect example. for whatever reason Russ thinks I posted my opinion on TWAT simply to seek attention. What a load of bullshit an to be honest I want no part of a forum that's made up their mind what my intention is before I've even posted something.
