I see where you're coming from, but I just don't think it's that big a deal. He's a fan of Guns N' Roses. He was a fan before he joined the band. He's basically paying homage to the guys that came before him. Is that so wrong?

maybe he was just supporting some avid GNR fans, and what an asshole he is, he shouldn't be immersing himself in the fan community, he should be shunning us and referring to us as the enemy like the rest of the GNR camp, this guy is clearly a selfish pig if you ask me.

Don't tell me what I think. What I posted is 100% the truth. You may not want to admit it, but that's your problem, not mine. This music is OK at best, and in most cases, it sucks in the form that we've been given. Maybe on the album it will be mastered better and it will sound better, but the UYI demos smoke every single demo we have right now musically. Every single one of them. Not some of them, not a few of them...every single one of them.
It has nothing to do with anything other than the music. I call it the way I see it, and when CD comes out, you'll see I'm not alone. So don't tell me what I think...I know exactly what I think, and if you go back and read through my posts, I'm usually right on. You don't have to like it, you just have to accept it.
are you being frustratingly hypocritical deliberately? or are you just really really ignorant?

So Welcome to the jungle is GN'R's I Wanna Hold Your Hand and The Blues is Dig a Pony, right? While I see how Beatles got better over the years (7 or 8 years), I don't see the pattern, since IMO GN'R was better in 1987-1993. Good interview btw, thanks for posting.

Oh and I agree with D. I think Slash's guitar work in November Rain is what makes the song so epic. Take out the solos and it's just an average piano ballad.
take out Axl and the song doesn't exist. slash, while amazing, is not as important to the GNR name as Axl is. just look at velvet revolver, it consist of 3 former GNR members and has not produced anything that remotely touches on their previous work. however if we examine the nuGNR line up, the only original member being Axl, we can see that the leaks are comparable and in some cases surpass original GNR songs.
if you aren't a fan of at least one or two of the leaks you will never be satisfied with anything the new band produces. or at least not until your precious slash returns. i swear to god some of you nay-sayers would love the new songs, provided slash was in the credits, even if it sounded exactly the same.

instead its, "oh! its only buckethead he isn't nearly as lovable as slash, i couldn't possibly enjoy his work under the GNR name"
i love slash btw, i am just not as frustratingly nostalgic as some of you.

it seems the track in the movie is if the world, according to the cell phone recordings, and its pretty much confirmed 100%.

just 'mixed' do u mean its just the old leaks? i am just wondering because i am not sure, either way i am glad i got it, i didn't have the songs on my comp prior to the list. i've been listening t them in that track listing, as if it were the complete album, and even in that form the music has a distinctive epic feel to it.
